Under Construction
Snake Eyes
I did my snakes a little different, but basically it's a take on Cope's 3/S Snake Eyes Mod.

I pulled the Pop-Up Relay out and cracked it open.

How I did it, Coming Soon.

Interior Switch plate
I made this custom plate out of some plastic I got off of an old printer I had. I was going to use some plexi-glass, but this was easyier to shape.

I cut the plateout of some old plastic I found, from an old printer. I was going to use plexiglass, but this worked better. Plexiglass is more brittle than what I found. I pulled out the plate that is there, with the cruise switch and cigarette lighter. I trased the outline of the cover on the plastic.

I made two plates, only because the first one I used as a test plate. I wanted to see how the switches would line up.

It's kinda hard to explain how I hooked the plate I made to the "hole" in the console, but here goes. I drilled 4 holes in the new plate where the factory clips line up. I made some custom clips out of more plastic, and bolted them to the new plate using small black allen head bolts.

It's powered by the old power from the aux. lighter, which I think worked out well. All my accessories turn on with the key (if the switch is on. I bought the switches from Walmart for like 1.97 a piece.

Ok, was supposed to pick up the car today, but mother nature decided to dump 2 feet of snow on us. Gotta go shovel! Again!!
02/14 Happy Valentine's Day
Yes, the second love of my life decided to ask for a rebuilt Trans for Valentines's Day. I was thinking about doing an auto-manual swap, but it's winter and my truck is in the driveway on jack stands already. My mechanic kick's ass though, you know Flynn wouldn't take his car ANYWHERE unless he trusted the shop completely. My mech. tried to work things out on my car BEFORE attempting a rebuild. 2nd gear was slipping and it would clunk into first when slowing. The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) was throwing off a high voltage reading, he adjusted that and thought that was the problem with the clunk into first. No go. So then he adjusted the second gear band which is supposed to be between 2 and 2 1/2 turns, mine when to five, and after a test drive, it completely missed second. So it's in the shop, up in the air.

Well, the latest is my new alternator. I was driving on night and I had the lights, heater and radio on. I tried to clean the windsheild with the water jets and wipers and the radio cut out for a second. I looked over at the Volt Meter and it read about 10.5 volts. So I drove down to my local auto parts store (about 1 mile) and he hooked a tester up to my battery. It read 12volts with the car off and 10.5volts running. So, time for a new alternator.
