This is my family site.

My name is Kevin Eugene West. I was born in San Francisco, California to Thomas Eugene West and Joan Charlotte West,(maiden name Stoner). I was raised in Marin County.

I live in Marin County, California, USA. I was born in San Francisco and Raised in Marin County. Marin is in the San Francisco Bay area , the Golden Gate bridge is on Marin and San Francisco. Muir Woods National Monument is also in Marin. The Monument is one of the few old-growth coastal redwood forests left.
If you come to the SF bay area you have to see Muir Woods.

I have been researching my Ancestry at www.ancestry.com
See my family tree it is a public tree you have to have a login to see ti www.ancestry.com. I made a public members family tree. I am working on my family tree on Family tree maker and will put it up on the internet in the world family tree. Both will be accessible when one searches www.ancestry.com for names. If you are a relative please email me and I will put on the edit list of names.
My grandfather on my mothers side was Harold G. Stoner,(born in England) and my grandmother was Jeanne Catherine Stoner(maiden name Legallet). She was always called Jeannette by her sisters. Jeannette is little Jean in French.

My grandfather on my Fathers side was Marion Allen West,(went by the name Allen), and my grandmother was Rose Ann West maiden name Dunbar, Her parents were Dominic Dunbar,(Dominick)and Annie Dunbar (O'Brien). They are from Ireland and I was told born in Dublin Ireland. They said Rose was born in the US but she was on the ship from Ireland with Annie and Dominic. Rose spent most of her life in Denver Colorado and is buried there so is Marion.

Do not know anything about Marion. According to my aunt his father was disowned for marrying a Catholic woman.
Uncle Bob (my fathers brother) said that Marion was born in Stoddard County, Missouri. According to his WW1 draft registration he said he was born in Stoddard Co, MO. There was a Allen West of the right age in a Orphanage for boys, he was 6. I have not found his parents or birth. It was a state run school and I emailed a someone listed on the Colorado state site. There is no links to the school only a few pages in historic sense.

I have a web site at www.electrawest.com where I sell central vacuums. Also at www.x10-products for home automation and http://www.taser-stungun.com/ for personal protection products.

My wife is Bernice Diane West.
Here is a picture of the both of us many, many years ago.

Our children are:
Taryn Rose West, born March 13, 1998
Jeannette Louise West, Born August 7, 2002

We live in Marin County and own a home in the redwoods next to a stream. Ever since I was a child I wanted to live in the redwoods next to a stream so here I am here. My father died when I was between 4 and 5. One of the few memories of him was a walk to Kent Lake which is about 3 minutes walk from our house, so this place means a lot to me.
Here is a picture of our back yard after a storm.

See tarynrosewest.com for a photo album of our first born.

Taryn learned about the Big Bang and painted this picture of the big bang.

Taryn wrote a story for a class assignment and I am illustrating it in DAZ Studio. Once finished I plan on self publishing it as well as the children's book I wrote (once it is illustrated.) I will put the cover on this page once it is perfected.

DAZ 3D Studio is a 3d poser and animation application. You cannot create models only primitives (planes, cubes, spheres etc.)

I found it easy to use but it does take a while to get the "tricks". There are plenty of free models available on the web. Some will not allow commercial use so I have to be sure before I used it. I have not purchased any models and I am sure I will be able to illustrate her book without purchasing any models.

I found a site that will publish books for a very good price including hard bound. Her book is not long enough to be a hard bound.

Also go to my other web sites electrawest.com central vacuums systems, x10-products.com for home automation.

I am a jack of all trades.

I have taken my Honda 600 apart and a motorcycle. My Honda 600 “works”. I had a mechanic restore the engine. I drove it a few weeks then the wheel went out. It will need breaks and the turn signal does not work to make it street legal. But Honda 600’s are collector’s cars so it is worth fixing up.

I have replaced most of our house over 10+ years. It was a summer home and about 90 years old. Most was rotted.

I am writing movie and TV scripts with the hope of selling them. I write in the name of Eugene West. I wrote a children’s book and need to illustrate it.

I am a licensed contractor, electrician and central vacuum systems and license alarm company operator. Electronics technician and computer technician. Managed Netware servers at College Of Marin. Was a computer operator on Mini Computers, (Mini’s are one step below main frames). I have managed, Windows and UNIX servers.

My electronics, programming and general trouble shooting and problem solving is why I am an expert with computers, both hardware and software. repairing alarm systems is where I got to be a real good trouble shooter. Nothing will teach you troubleshooting and patience like tracing 30 year old alarm system in old building.

Have taken art, geology, piano, and even tap dancing classes. Need about 20 units at COM to transfer to US State as a Jr in Computer Engineering, but go married and had kids. Never got an AS degree either (I qualified but the “people” would not take my English classes from another college.) To get an AS in Electronics and Business programming I just need to get English and maybe more because I have to use a new Catalog. If I take a couple of Computer Science classes I could get an AS in Computer science same with Geology and Math and Physics.

I just purchased an electric scooter and Lepton Oxygen. It cost $1650. It was “new”, the company I purchased it from bought them from companies that had them in storage. Thunderstruck, http://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/Lepton.htm stuck fixed them up. So mine was not actually new and had scratches so they discounted it. Normally they cost $2,200 new. They are popular in Europe. This one Is Italian. It gets about 30 miles on one charge and costs about .30 a day as opposed to the $6 or so for gas.

Our experience with food additives and illness. www.geocities.com/kevinewest/foods.html I have lots to to but this will be the start of this site.

Domain name ibmpersonalcomputer.com is for sale, please put in a bid to:

Jimmy Swinnerton

I am looking for information on this picture. Jimmy is in the foreground and his characters are sitting at the table looking at Margret Shafter. I am interested in selling but need to know its value. It is unique so I will not part with it cheap.

More information to follow. There is some information on the back of it I will put on this site.
