field that permeates almost every level of society. The Government, the
military, the health service, big business and the ordinary consumer all utilized
the improving forms of telecommunication to influence their aims
and lives. Importantly this is no overnight revolution, but a steady
drive by mankind to improve communication around the globe that has
brought about the unprecedented situation today. As such it is the drive
towards improved communication, the technology that drives it, the
industry that surrounds it and the implications for our health and well
being that concerns us within this website.
