
The hitch measured for this sketch is one of two factory designs I have seen on Penguins. It looks like a similar one was (one of two designs)used on Beavers, one is shown in the Beaver brochure - check out the Beaver on the beach. If you are making this for a Beaver dimensions may have to be altered to make it fit due to different locations for the upper and lower hitch mounts. The other hitch used on the Penguin would be more difficult to reproduce, and the other one used on the Beaver is different again. Be careful what you pull behind your machine, the fibreglass is taking most of the load in the Penguin, and all of the load in the Beaver and it can and will break if overloaded. You may also notice that it is harder to steer and stop your machine while pulling a trailer, take that into consideration too.
