The Sirens
Breathe
Dozens of lights have filled the sky
Awaken by the painful moaning
of the siren's lullaby
The sirens plead for victims near
The sirens pierce the musky air
The sirens shriek and call my name
But I will not be swayed...
As dawn approaches and we travel on
Our ears are safe from their dreadful song
But the siren's noise I won't forget
But the siren's screech I can't forget
As their wailing has spared me
but not my fellow man
I will look forward to unknown and distant lands

I know few words
To express
I know few words
Like symbols marked on papyrus
Scanned left to right
Up and down, right to left
The symbols mean nothing
The ideas behind them were the magic
Like wind, ideas were exhaled
I know few words...ideas arelost
Ideas from my birth no longer within me
They have since flown away
Looking for one who dare remember them
And breathe them in
I know few words...but now I am the wiser
Since words, like the wind, are eternal
The wind you feel know is from my breath.
I implore you to breathe them in, slowly,  never forget them
As they are scanned left to right.
