Totally Stock Pass Side

This is how it looked went I first got it on the road in 1981.
Stock SIX cylinder with a 2-speed slip and slide.

Driver Side Gray

In 1982 John Carter At Northfork Auto Body did a complete body make over and sprayed on a coat of charcoal gray metallic.

At The Beach Front Gray

During the body job I removed the rear door handles and tinted the window VERY dark.I added power steering and power brakes. I removed the stock bench seat and installed a pair of swivel buckets and a center console, as well as a tilt steering column. I also dropped in a 350 small block and a turbo 350 transmission.

Stock Motor THAT, Was A Party.........

During the winter of 1982 I pulled the motor just to paint it up and make it look pretty. In the summer as always it was my daily driver.

My First Car Show Trophy

In the summer of '83 I joked with my friend Jack and said "If I win a trophy with my car then I will redo it over the winter". And wouldn't you know it I got first place at the Venture's car show in Guelph.

Back to Northfork in 1984 for a nice coat of black.Then I wet sanded the whole car and John applied three coats of clear.

Cruise Night Burger King Cruise Night in Owen Sound

In 1985 I put it back on the road as my daily driver ,But with a few more modifications. Took it to Cruise Night regularly.

Drivers Side Pass Side

I shaved off the front door handles and installed solenoids. I put a posi-trac rear end in it with alot of help from Keith. I put power windows in all four doors. I also relocated the battery to the spare tire compartment.

Stock Grill Nice Wheels

Nice new set of Crager SST rims.14 x 6 Full reverse on the front. 15 x 8 on the rear. B F Goodrich TA's all around. 225-14's on the front and 295-15's on the rear.

Nice Motor Got caught in the rain

New Motor, 327 cu.in. with an aftermarket TURBO CHARGER, lots of chrome goodies and lots of ss braided hoses also an electric fan to keep it cool.

How to Blow up a motor.

Ya, It had a lot of power. I was running it at around 20#'s boost. But it lacked real reliability.
