After War Pictures

These are a bunch of pictures I took in Baghdad after the War. I still got a whole lot more that I am scanning to put on here.

Flipped T-55: This is a picture of a T-55 that was flipped over in an explosion.

Iraqi Kids: Picture of Iraqi kids in Baghdad.

AA Gun: A destroyed Iraqi Anti-Aircraft gun in Baghdad.

Flipped T-55 2: A different angle of the T-55 that was destroyed.

Camels: Here is an Iraqi woman herding a bunch of camels on the outskirts.

Friends with Flag: Some of my friends with a flag in front of a Saddam painting.

Foot Patrol: Foot patrol we did in the surrounding area of our camp. Everyone taking cover while others check out something they found something suspicious.

Foot Patrol 2: Another Foot patrol through the area.

Weapon and Ammo Cache: Weapons and ammo we found in a nearby suspected house occupied by a  Fedayeen cell.

Crossed Sabers: Saddam's military parade field with the 2 sets of crossed sabers on either side. Also has Iranian army soldiers helmets from the Iraq/Iran war as speed bumps on the parade street.

Baghdad International Airport: Says "Saddam International Airport" however, it is now changed to Baghdad International Airport after BIAP was captured. Also a floor matt inside the airport with a picture of the 1st Bush President with "Bush is Criminal" on it, was replaced by a picture of Saddam after the airport was taken.

Memorial for a Comrade: A memorial we had for a fallen comrade who died in Al-Fallujah in June 2003.

Grand Mosque: Once was dubbed "Saddam Mosque" but after the city fell, it became known as the Grand Mosque. Saddam never got finished building it. The biggest mosque in the world.

Iraqi Kids 2: In an town I can't say where I am not allowed to say, this is a picture of 2 kids in the middle of the street as we conducted mounted patrols on vehicles.

Weapons and Ammo 2: Some more weapons and ammo we captured in raids.

Me and M249 SAW: Here is a picture of me and my M249 SAW Machine gun. I love firing this weapon system very much, but I don't like carrying it!

Me and SPR Rifle: A picture taken of me with a SPR sniper rifle. Very Nice, I like this gun alot too.

After Raid: This picture of me was taken right after we had finished conducting a raid. It was taken inside the green zone in Baghdad. Supposedly one of the most secure places you can imagine.
