| (Penelope�s Point of View) �Oh god! Not another boring video shoot with a conceited boy band!� I thought to myself as I was in my dressing room about to walk on the set of the Backstreet Boys� new video shoot. The director Wayne Isham chose me to be one of the stunning women in the video. He knew that I was a talented woman and figured I would have great chemistry with at least one Backstreet Boy. As I was getting my hair done, I thought to myself that I wanted to distance myself from pop music. I somehow wanted to distance myself from musicians lately too. Ever since I broke up with AJ McLean, I wanted to bury myself into my work. But I�m stuck with doing cameos in music videos for a few days, but thank god I�m filming a new movie pretty soon. These sound stages give me hives. I guess that�s because they remind me of AJ. But AJ McLean is a self centered little boy that only cared about his stupid band. He didn�t even pay attention to me when we were dating. Everything was all about him and his stupid tattoos and his stupid image. Thank god I�m not that conceited. �Hey dumb ass! I said I wanted my hair down, not in this shitty ponytail! God can�t you do anything right?� I yelled and threw some hair spray at the hairdresser. The hairdresser couldn�t speak English, so she sat and nodded and continued to fix my hair. I looked into the mirror and sighed. I hated the lifestyle I was living. I hated being lonely in my studio apartment in Los Angeles, because I don�t have anyone to love my standard of living. I can�t seem to find a man that can handle my traveling, and the media always looking at my every move. But I of course intimidated men, because I was an independent woman. After an hour I walked outside to the sound stage. Wayne Isham greeted me and talked to me about the concept of the video. Wayne also told me I was to be partnered up with Backstreet Boy, Kevin Richardson. I glanced across the room and noticed Kevin sitting in a chair talking with AJ. Kevin managed to look at me and flashed his piercing green eyes. I smiled at him for some strange reason. Just looking at him seemed to brighten up my day, but that was until I noticed AJ looking at me and pointing. Kevin frowned at me and walked away. I stood there speechless. I just knew that asshole AJ had to have said something false about me. AJ then walked over with an evil look on his face. �Enjoy your scenes with Kevin. I just know he�ll enjoy your company Ice Queen!� AJ said. I then slapped him across the face and stormed out of the room. What an asshole! |
