I woke up the next morning to see Pen�s soft body lying still. I caressed the curve of her breasts as she slept. She looked really calm. I looked at her and began to ask myself what happens now? I mean the relationship that Pen and I had would never be the same. We crossed that intimate line that hopefully would bring us closer together. I pulled her close to me and brushed her lips with my thumb. God! She was beautiful. I grinned and told myself that I wouldn�t mind waking up every morning to see her like this. I kissed her forehead softly, right before she opened her eyes.

�Hey you.� She said softly. �How long have you been up?�

�For a good ten minutes. You okay?�

�Yeah, I�m fine. How about you?�

�I�m okay. I�m just thinking about something.�

�You�re thinking about us?� She asked. �I knew this was going to happen.�

�Well I just want to know what happens now. I mean what happened last night...�

�Last night was incredible. It was more than incredible.� Pen said, �Last night was trying to tell us something.�

�Like what?� I asked. I looked into her eyes and saw that she was happy. Her eyes sparkled of ecstasy. �Like we�re supposed to be together.� I said quickly. Pen didn�t respond, but climbed out of bed. She put on a bathrobe and walked into the living room. Maybe I was moving too fast? I mean we only made love. It wasn�t like we were getting married. But I didn�t want to let her go. I wanted to see if things would work out. I sighed and got out of the bed and put my boxers back on. I walked into the living room to join Pen. �Penelope I�m not trying to rush things, but I don�t want to let you go. I really care about you.�

�Kevin I care about you too. And I know you care about me, but we need to think about this whole situation. I mean we did get really personal, in more ways than one. And you got under my skin. You discovered things about me that no one knows. Plus you make me feel different. You make me feel like I don�t have to hide anything from you.� Pen said. She walked over towards me and I wrapped my arms around her small waist. �But what happens now?� She asked.

�I wish I knew.� I said right before kissing her sweet lips. We kissed passionately for a few minutes right before hearing the doorbell ring. Pen decided to walk into the bedroom while I answered the door. I opened the door to discover AJ standing there with a suitcase. �Alex!� I said. �Dude, what are you doing here?�

�I decided to schedule some of the interviews for another time. I needed to tend to my beach house anyway. You know to make sure you didn�t wreak the place.� AJ said as he walked through the house and dropped his suitcase on the couch. He walked into his kitchen to discover an empty bottle of wine. �Well I can tell you were having fun. So you and Chloe had a sex filled weekend?�

�Actually Chloe and I broke up a long time ago.� I said trying to hide the evidence that I had a companion with me. �But a friend and myself were enjoying ourselves.�

�Oh a friend? I see. So do I know this friend of yours?�

�You�re familiar with her.� I said right before noticing Pen walk into the kitchen.

�No fucking way!� Pen said. �What the hell is he doing here?�

�This is my house you dumb bitch.� AJ said. �The question is what the hell are you doing here?�

�I was invited.� Pen said walking next to me. I reached for her hand and looked into her eyes.

�I invited Pen to stay with me. She had nowhere else to go. � I said as I looked back at AJ. His face was red and he was shaking in anger.

�Whatever!� AJ said right before walking into the bedroom. Pen and I looked at each other with terror in our eyes.

�How come you didn�t tell me this was his house?� Pen said. She slapped me across my face and walked outside. I followed her and closed the door behind us. �If I knew this was his place I would have never came. I mean I can�t even be in the same room as him without a fight breaking out.�

�But he wasn�t here, and that�s what made the situation a little better. I didn�t mention AJ because I didn�t want to scare you away. I wanted you to come with me.� I said. �Look I�ll take care of everything. I�ll defend you if he starts bitching okay.�

�Thank you.� Pen said right before kissing me. We kissed for a few minutes right before we heard AJ open the doors.

�Kevin, could you go to the store to get some groceries for the house? I mean I would go but I just had a long trip and I need some rest.� AJ said. I told him that it was no problem and I went back into the house to change.

(Pen�s point of view)

After Kevin left I immediately ran into the shower and changed. I had a feeling that AJ was going to start something with me once I got out though. I changed into a black halter-top and some jeans and put my hair up. I looked into the mirror and took a deep breath. I was scared to go into the other room to face AJ. I just knew that things were going to get aggressive. I sighed and decided to walk into the living room.

�So you just had to sleep with Kevin too?� AJ asked. �God what is with you and sleeping with all of my friends?�

�What Kevin and me did is none of your damn business.�

�But what you did with Justin is. I mean what did you do get drunk with Kevin too...� AJ began to say right before I slapped him across the face. AJ groaned and hit me back. �Don�t you dare hit me in my own house! I mean you broke my heart for Christ�s sake. I have a right to be angry.�

�Alex! What happened in Mexico...� I tried to say right before AJ interrupted me.

�What happened in Mexico will never be forgiven, Penelope. What you did to me was really fucked up. It was like you didn�t give a damn about our relationship!�

�AJ you don�t understand...�

�Don�t tell me I don�t understand. I saw you walk out of his hotel room Penelope. Your clothes and appearance reeked of sex! So don�t stand there and say you didn�t have sex with Justin.�

�It was against my will you fucking asshole.� I screamed as I ran outside to the deck to cry. I held back tears trying not to fall apart. Just listening to AJ talk down to me made my head hurt. AJ walked outside and stood next to me feeling thrown.

�What did you just say?� He asked in a low tone. �What do you mean against your will?�

�Justin raped me that night.�

�What are you talking about? You two looked...�

�I don�t care what it looked like. You�re not listening to me. Justin raped me after that video shoot. He tore away at my dignity, and when you dumped me and called me a slut, you didn�t make me feel any better. You left me when I needed you the most.�

�Pen...� AJ said trying to reach out for my hand, �Penelope I�m so sorry...�

I pushed AJ away and screamed �Don�t touch me!� I then ran in the house and grabbed my suitcase to leave.
