Kristin Kay Willits-Richardson
Born on September 29th 1970 to parents John Willits and Susan Patton. Kristin has a brother Brad and a sisiter Tina. Kristin graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School (She was a Cougar!) She was active in the Drill team, Cheerleading, and Gymnastics. She attended one semester at the University of Kansas and then when on to Okalahoma City University. Kristin is a professionally trained classical and jazz dancer. She put her talents to use at Disney World in Florida where she danced and acted in Beauty and The Beast.(She met Kevin here in 1993 while he was a Ninja Turtle in the cafeteria.) Kristin then when on to New York to play in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum"on Broadway, which stared Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg and David Alan Grier. She also was in the original workshop cast of Footloose. Kristin has appeared in many other stage productions including The Will Rogers Follies, West Side Story and Beauty And The Beast. She performed at Radio City Music Hall as a world famous Rockette. Life after New York was pretty exciting for Kristin too, she got a gig as the lead dancer on Cher's 'Believe Tour!' This is when things with Kevin became concrete too. They had decided enough was enough, they really wanted to be together and not date other people. December of 1999, they made their first public appearance together as an official couple at the movie premire for 'Never Been Kissed' staring Drew Barrymore as a VERY happy couple obviously in love. February of 2000, Kevin announced to MTV News, that he was engaged to his long time girlfriend and on June 17th 2000, they were married! Since then Kristin has been VERY busy. She has just recently wrapped filming on the movie 'Rock Star' staring Mark Wahlberg and is finishing up another movie 'Soupernatural' which she is the star! (Her other film credits include Crossings, Forever Yours, Man On The Moon, and Ganges On The Hudson) In between all her movie filming she has some how found time to squeeze in TV appearances, commercials and modeling shoots! Kevin and Kristin are quite the bi-coastal couple, having a place in Los Angeles, and their newest addition a 100+ acre farm in Kentucky. The end of 2002 and the beginning of 2003, Kristin has been spending a lot of much needed time with her husband and working on a movie in Florida (this directly from Kevin's mouth when I met his in Feb of this year). Still no immediate plans for kids, but one wonders with all this "extra" time they've had together if the Richardson's will soon be feeding another mouth. I can't WAIT to see their kids, they certainly will be beautiful. |
