I went to see all three Ft Lauderdale shows for the B&B tour with a couple of my friends. We managed to get front row from some lady outside and when the show began, all eyes were on Kev. He was the greatest because he saw that we were taking pics and when he was near us, he'd look down into our cameras and keep singing. I have at least 3 pics just from IWITW of him doing that! We loved the concerts so much, we decided to take a trip to Chicago to see them again because a friend of mine knew what hotel they would be at. I made reservations at the last minute and got a ticket from a broker and we were ready. We didn't wait in the lobby until after the concert though. About 30 minutes after we got back from the concert, we saw Howie walking thru the lobby but he had about 6 guys surrounding him so we didn't bother. About 20 minutes after Howie came down, we managed to see AJ, but he wasn't going to stop because he was late. 20 minutes later, AJ came back up and said that he missed Howie because apparently they were going out together. He signed autographs and took pics with us and left again. That was it for the night but my friend and I weren't going to leave that hotel until we met Kev!
The next morning when we were in the lobby, we saw Nick come in from shopping or something and he signed for everyone and took pics and then left. Soon after though, Kevin was coming up and we jumped up and practically ran to the elevators. Carlos was telling us, "no autographs, no pictures! Don't come any closer." So we stopped in front of the elevators a small distance away from Kev. He stopped to sign something for a mom and her son and talked to them for a few seconds. Then, he turned to us and asked us if we wanted to take pictures and have him sign things. By this time Carlos looked pretty ticked and was telling us that once the elevator came, Kev was leaving. Kev kept signing and talking with the group of us that had surrounded him and when the elevator came, he still kept signing LOL! He was the sweetest guy ever. I knew he was nice, but I didn't know he would go against what his bodyguard was saying. After that we saw Howie and this time he stopped for us even though he was in a hurry. That was the end of our BSB adventure in Chicago, but we got to meet Kev once so it was well worth it. |
