1) Pair of fine pliers (for cutting parts from the sprue)

Ok, here are some step by step instructions on how to fix your first model.

Step 1 :

Ok, you've just bought your first model and want to get straight into the thick of things. But first, before you paid for the model, did you do a check to make sure that all the parts were there? Always remember to check all the parts with the instruction sheet. Usually there is a picture or parts list at the end of the instruction sheet.

Step 2 :

Wash all the parts (still in their sprue) in warm water with a little detergent.

Step 3 :

Go through the instruction leaflet at least once before starting. Start from the beginning and remove the parts one by one by using the fine pair of cutter. Glue accordingly.

Step 4 :

File any uneven parts and fill any holes or uneveness with putty. You may not wish to do this part but sooner or later you'll end up doing it so why not start here.

After completing the assembly process, you may paint the model before applying the decals. Some of you may not paint the model but that's ok, enjoy your model and your handiwork :) This hobby is for fun so do whatever you want and not let peoples' criticism put you down.
