FAQ (ahem) #012

Q: I am so bored I can't breathe have you any suggestions for what i should do?
And because, as i have mentioned, i am bored, i shall describe my situation to make things easier (/more difficult) for you. I am at school, in the 6th form computer room. It is very cold and windy and raining. There is an orchestra practicing in the hall but i am too scared to go and watch by myself. There are some of my friends in the common room doing absolutely nothing and enjoying it more than I do, none of them will come and watch orchestra. All the younger years who are my friends (or who i would like to see) are in lessons. I have no guitars.

A: I'm really sorry I didn't reply soon enough to help at that particular time. However, when you find yourself in another position such as that do this:
Walk to the stair way between maths and music... you know? Stand on the first little landing bit, right in the corner, and stare into the top corner, above the doors. See what I mean? Just stand there... you may find that people start joining in... staring...
Last time I did it, a teacher who I will not name (a Maths teacher, he's a good guy) joined in after just a few seconds.
Alternatively, if you're looking for something to do without having to stand up, you could look at random websites or write poems or stories.
If you have access to a half decent graphics editing program then make crazy pictures like this:
