Situated on the confluence of two major rivers, the Klang and the Gombak River, Kuala Lumpur, which began as a mining town in the19th Century, is now a vibrant city with exciting sights & sounds. This is a perfect orientation tour of Kuala Lumpur for first time visitors. Highlights of the tour include a drive pass the Merdeka (Independence) Stadium and Chinatown before stopping at Jamek Mosque where Kuala Lumpur was born. Proceed to Parliament House (view from a distance) located in the vicinity of the Lake Gardens where the leaders of the country convene for decision-making, the Railway Station which depicts Moorish architecture and the National Mosque. A stop will be also made to visit the National Monument, the National Museum and the King's Palace before returning to the hotel. |

Enjoy the rural scenery of Kuala Lumpur as this tour takes you along Embassy Row (where many Embassies and High Commissions are located) to the countryside where colorful Malay Kampung (village) houses built on stilts can still be seen. Stop for photograph at the Istana Sharif Ali, the local residence of the Sultan of Brunei before driving on to a rubber small holding to observe the art of rubber tapping. Your next stop will be the Royal Selangor Pewter, the world's largest Pewter factory to see how pure tin; antimony and copper are handcrafted into beautiful items. Before visiting a scorpion farm proceed to a Batik center to observe the art of printing fabric using dyes and wax. Finally to the cathedral - like Batu Caves. Climb the 272 steps and pay respect to a Hindu Deity set in a deep grotto framed with stalactites and stalagmites. |
