I am currently enrolled in Professor Krause's English 328 class.  This is a writing course which combines style and computers. During the semester we have completed three main essays.

The first essay,  Creating a writing technology , involved an attempt to actually create a form of writing without using any form of technology.  The essay discusses this process and what I discovered during the project.

The second essay,  Traditional versus electronic style writing , is a comparison of the traditional writing style manual, The Elements of Style, by William Strunk and E.B. White, and the modern book by Dianna Booher, E-Writing: 21st Century Tools for Effective Communication.

In my third essay, I was asked to follow the threads of a news group for a period of six weeks and then write about the style of the group.  My  Online and community discourse essay  covers the google news group alt.support.asthma.

I also worked on a  collaborative web site with other members of my class.  Our web site critiques the sites of the magazines: Harpers, The Atlantic, Granta, and The Literary Review.
