Premiere
Vaughn Parrish, Jane Cahill, and Scotty Sallback make up the band known as, The Problem. Seemingly like a regular band wanting to make it big, this band has a big problem (no pun intended). Scotty found this Amulet, the amulet of Sauryn, and Vaughn reads the inscription, so now they can see dead people. Not something they can deal with while being a band. They get into a fight and go their seperate ways.
Scotty has to help a dead truck driver by giving his former fiancè the ring he had bought her. Vaughn meets a dead rocker that tells him to be cautious of an A&R executive's evil ways. A pilgrim that last held the amulet tells Jane their new job. The pilgrim tells her they will be the possessor of the amulet until all three of them die.
So after all three of them help each ghost pass on, they regroup and tell their manager, Dennis Budny, that they see ghosts. Dennis think they're on drugs but The Problem remains a band and continues to help the dead people.

Heebee Geebee's
Since I haven't seen this one, only part of it, I don't know how to give my summary of it, so this is the
WB summary.
The Problem gets a gig at a New York City rock club and find out that NYC has more ghost then anyother town they've played in. Vaughn, Scotty, and Jane conduct a group counseling session with the endless line of ghosts.

... In The Air (aka Death Is In The Air)
Scotty is told by a dead airplane pilot that the plane has a faulty part. He has to take-over the plane because the pliots just think he's crazy. Scotty's sister is also on the flight. So, Scotty offically takes over the plane and lands it safetly.
Meanwhile, Vaughn and Jane have dug up a girl's coffin because she wanted to be buried next to her boyfriend. With the coffin in the back of the van, they look for the cemetary that the ghost's boyfriend is buried in. Unfortuneatly the cemetary is now a parking lot and the two reunit there leaving Vaughn and Jane with the coffin. So they drive to their interview with a journalist that gave a band Vaughn was once in a bad review. Now they have to make sure she doesn't see the coffin.

The Mulravian Candidate
Vaughn, Scotty, and Jane go to Washington, D.C. for their next show. While there Vaughn has an affair with a woman (forgot her name), who turns out to be a CIA assassin. Vaughn also meets this dead CIA agent who tells Vaughn who the woman is and gets him all paranoid. Scotty becomes the Prince of Mulravia after the real prince gets shot, and dies. Jane doesn't meet any ghosts or anything because of a hangover.

The Problem With Corruption
While being trailed by a police car, Vaughn sees a woman with a cow in the middle of the road and swarves to avoid collison. Unfortuneatly, it was a ghost, the cow that started the Chicago fire. Vaughn gets a ticket for reckless driving, also his license is expired. Keeping the band in Chicago longer than wanted, Vaughn goes to his court date. A deceased lawyer, though Vaughn thinks is alive after seeing him high-five another person, lands him in hot water with the Mafia and CIA(?).
Meanwhile, Scotty is helping an ex-cop find the killer that killed his partner. Surprizingly the answer will help Vaughn out of his troubles.
Jane helps a hockey player, scourn for years by scoring his in own goal, to get his picture put up on this bar's wall.

To Serve, With Love
While doing a club show, Jane falls for a cool dj(disc jockey) but her attempts of trying to get him are interrupted by a angry ghost who had been a stalker when he was alive. Death isn't going to stop him.
Scotty and Vaughn have to deal with two subpoena servers that want revenge on the crazy recluse that had killed them.
Webmistress note: When I see this title all I can think about is Vaughn in the dog kennel ... and when they're dragging him out. Oh, funny stuff! I wish I had a clip of it, it'd be playing over and over and over and ... well you get the point. lol

Interviews

Kett, you have a unique name. Any story behind it?
"It's a nickname. It's actually short for my real name, which is Birkett. It was my grandmother's maiden name. I happened to like Kett better."

So how do you think you and your character Vaughn are alike?
"Well, we're both very passionate about our chosen art form, I guess you could say. I think he's a lot more headstrong than I am, and he's a lot more quick to act. He doesn't think as much. He's really me but he's just not as analytical. The main thing with Vaughn is that he really hates the fact that there are these ghosts who suddenly show up because he sees it as basically a distraction to his music and what not, he plays the guitar."

Have you been playing the guitar yourself?
Kett:"Um, not really well. I took lessons when I was in L.A. doing the show. Now I play guitar on my own time. I have a guitar and I just sort of fool with it. I'm sort of, more or less, starting a band with a friend of mine, so that should help me. In the show, we did play something, but I think they're going to play a track over it."

Throughout the 13 episodes you filmed, what would you say was the most memorable blooper?
Kett: "Well, there's this one episode that contains one of the only scenes where we're on-stage playing music, and as the song comes to a peak, we start destroying our instruments and going kind of crazy. After doing that for a few takes, you start to get really crazy and I think we broke some lights and stuff that we weren't supposed to break, but we did anyway. The really big thing that happened, though, is that Ty threw one of his drumsticks and it nailed me right below the eye and I didn't realize how bad it was, but I was bleeding down my chest. I got four stitches and now, I have a lovely tough guy scar under my eye."

Wow! Did Tyler say he'd be your slave or anything to make up for it?
Kett: (Laughs.) "No. He felt really bad and stuff, but I didn't care because it was so much fun to do the scene and I was really glad to be able to let loose to the point where we got to do that sort of thing and it didn't hurt."

Speaking of your co-stars, I understand you got to know them pretty well. An insights?
Kett: "Tyler is by far, the coolest guy I've ever met. He's very free. He just has this sort of playground vibe about him. Sara is awesome. I really have a lot of respect for her. She's a lot more talented than she realizes and she is absolutely insane. (Laughs) She's just all over the place. I've had many a night with Sara where we've just ended up staying up really late just walking around and talking about stuff that you hardly ever talk about with anybody."

Vaughn sounds like a really fun role, if you could play any other character, who would you want to play and why?
Kett: "I'd love to play Satan or someone who's possessed by something. I don't know. That has an attraction to me somehow."

About The Show

"Strange and supernatural with a humorous bent, Dead Last chronicles the misadventures of a fledgling rock band on the verge of being discovered when the rockers accidentally stumble upon a magical ancient amulet that gives them the power to see ghosts... whether they want to or not. Suddenly, their popularity skyrockets - if only with the dead - as they find themselves eternally stuck with the unwanted task of helping an endless parade of apparitions resolve their unfinished business so they can move on to the next world." - From
