"Robe please and could you be tiny bit quieter than usual?" she requested to the closet. It opened it’s doors to reveal a rack of fuzzy robes and animal shaped slippers on the bottom. She rejected several robes till she came across the only non fuzzy and non animal print pair. It was a simple dark green robe she pulled it over the shirt and slipped out the door. Quietly padding down the hall she turned her head from door to door searching for someone when…

"You!" came the cry from down the hall. Hira looked up to see Kasai standing in a dark red robe clutching his stomach while hobbling along up the hall way towards her. "What are YOU doing?" He was almost level with her and she was surprised to notice that through the robe peeked a blood soaked bandage wrapped around his torso.

"I’m walking, if you could call it that, you have a problem with that?" said Hira trying to keep her voice nonchalant as she sniffed the air with her nose. Definitely one very blood soaked bandage. "what are YOU doing here I thought I got you down for at least a week."

"heh me.. I’m indestructible..you..must.. Have..cheated" answered Kasai short of breath his hand tightened on his stomach, his other hand moved to grasp the wall.

"Cheated…me! You’re…the…one…who…attacked..first!" retorted Hira, she to had moved to the wall for support but managed to lightly push Kasai’s hand.

"Hah…you…changed…I…had…to…fight…without…help." Kasai had slid down to sit on the floor back to the wall. He poked Hira’s foot as he fought to get a breath out.

"You…are…so…stupid…you…are..the…one…who…pushed…me…into…it" Gasped out Hira as she slid down to join him gasping from the pain in her shoulder.

That was where Takaji found them, the 2 enemies sleeping side by side. He motioned to an strong looking butler and a maid to carry Kasai to his room. He lightly lifted Hira up and walked her down the hall to her room. Placing her gently on the bed he noticed that her robe had a dark spot on her shoulder. He carefully peeled off her robe to show a blood soaked shirt. He took a deep breath then slowly began to peel back the shirt. He frowned as he saw the gash had re opened. Her blood was flowing freely and he couldn’t resist the tantalizing smell.. It had been so long since he had a fresh meal. He lowered his head and took a tentive lick at her wound. Her blood tasted sweeter then any he’d had before. He began to lap up the blood but soon stopped. Her gash had closed up, healing power of werewolves no doubt. He looked down at her neck, and making sure she was still unconscious gave it a quick kiss before sliding off to find another maid to dress her.

Hira awoke sometime later to a searing pain in her shoulder. Groaning, she sat up and rubbed it, wincing as she felt the newly-healed scar under her fingers. She gingerly slid to the edge of the bed and, bracing herself on the wall, stood up. Oddly, she found it much easier than the last time. “I wonder how long I’ve been asleep.” she asked herself.

“About 3 days.” Came the reply from a mirror across the room. Hira looked up at Kagami with wide eyes.

“Three days??” Hira asked, astounded. Kagami smiled a little.

“We were beginning to wonder if you died or something.” Kagami joked. “But anyway, you should be fine now, and Kasai promises not to ambush you in the halls so you can walk around. I’m goanna go tell little neffie-poo that he can quit pacing around his room now that your alright again.” She said, before leaving the mirror.

Hira slowly let go of the wall and stood on her own. Feeling almost no pain, she wandered around the castle. After a few minutes she got tired, and seeing that library was nearest, she went in. Looking around at the many shelves of books, she smiled. No one would have ever guessed that a werewolf like her enjoyed books, but she did. Wandering around the library, she saw a large amount of books stacked in piles on a table. Walking over, she peeked around them in curiosity, and came face to face with Kasai, who had looked around the many books to see who had entered. They both jumped back, and Kasai (who Hira had just noticed was only wearing pants and his bandage) pointed a finger at her. “DON’T DO THAT WOMAN!!!” He yelled.

Hira turned away, blushing fiercely. “S..Sorry.” She studdered. “I didn’t know you were in here.”

Kasai quirked an eyebrow, then looked down at himself. “What? Haven’t you ever seen a man’s chest before?” He asked, smirking.

Hira blushed more, and then glared at him. “Oh shutup.” She said, as her gaze fell on one of the open books. “What are you looking at?” She asked, taking a step closer to the book.

“Ways to get Chiko out of those mirrors.” Kasai said, his smirk gone. He sat in the chair again, and pulled the book closer to him. “I know its possible, it has to be.”

Hira gave him an empathetic look. “Kasai…” She said softly.

Kasai gave her an angry glare. “Don’t you dare tell me its not possible!” He snapped, his voice angry but with a touch of desperation in it. “That’s what everyone says, but I know it is. It has to be!!” He said, turning the pages of the book quickly. Hira began to argue again, but Kasai turned to her with desperation. “Haven’t you ever done something for someone you loved even when it seems impossible??”

Hira stared at him for a few seconds, and then leaned over him and took the book from his hands quickly, before he could protest. He stood up angrily to swipe the book back, but Hira pushed one of the piles of books away and pulled up a chair, sitting next to him. She set the book on the table and began flipping through. “I wouldn’t know, my family was killed by my own hands a few weeks ago and everyone I’ve ever loved has had pretty much the same fate. I guess if I could have done a favor for them it would have been to get rid of myself.” She said softly, continuing to turn the pages. Kasai stared at her for a few moments, then opened another book, a small, unnoticeable smile on his lips.
