Hira stared up at Kagami in the mirror "What was that?" Kagami shrugged.
"Vampire pride my father had it to can’t get around it. My little vampire nephew has a certain streak of it."
Hira was slightly confused "How come your talking so mature now???"
Once again Sagami shrugged "Part of the curse my dear father "loved" me so much he wanted me to be his little girl forever so I’m cursed that by day I act like a child but at night a resume my more mature state of mind." Hira looked around the hall was massive with more then 10 doors leading out of it.
"what am I supposed to do all night?" said Hira looking around still seated.
"Don’t look at me but I do suggest not walking much the wolves bane has left you weak " with that Sagami left the room and walked along the walls till she reached the area where Takaji lived. She walked through into his rooms mirror where he sat staring at his reflection.
Takaji blinked as the face in the mirror turned from his to Kagami’s. "What do you want? To torment me further?" Kagami shook her head and leaned in to look at him.
"You took in there werewolf what are you planning to do with her? As official guardian of this house I’m supposed to.."
"Official guardian! That’s rich! You’ve been sleeping in that mirror for over a decade if anyone is in charge of this house it’s me!" interrupted Takaji.
"There must be a reason I woke up maybe it’s because someone did something wrong!" retorted Kagami.
"WRONG! You have no idea how lonely I’ve been while you were napping."
"Don’t take out your anger on me just because you can’t snag a vampiress and don’t take it out on the girl either."
"Don’t you get it! We can’t go treating her like a girl. She’s a were-wolf! She’s the enemy!"
"Oh here we go again high almighty vampires. Whatever I’m going to make sure she makes it to bed and next time you see her keep a civil tongue." and with that Sagami stormed out of the room. Takaji put his head in his hands and sighed. ‘women always have to make everything so difficult’
Meanwhile Hira had stumbled down the hallway, as Kagami had said her legs were still weak, and entered a room nearby. It revealed a library, Hira threw herself into a chair. ‘this dress may be beautiful but it’s useless for moving around. she thought as she struggled against the dress and her sore legs for a comfortable sitting spot. She looked from her chair to a nearby book case, she ran her fingers along the bindings of the books. "Dracula, Frankenstein, Moby Dick, Great Expectations how come no one every wrote about a werewolves in great novels." muttered Hira to herself.
"perhaps they were no worthy of being noted though I doubt your kind would want to be." said Takaji, he had crept in while Hira was talking. Hira swirled around in her seat (which put even more bruises on her already hurting legs) and winced.
"How come my legs hurt like hell?" questioned Hira choosing not to comment on dinner or his creeping up on her again. Takaji moved over where she was sitting a drew up a chair.
"Quite simple really you were bit in the leg, that and you’ve been walking running transforming and doing gods knows what else. Your human form can not take much more of it keep moving around like you are and you won’t be able to walk for a while." Takaji had gotten up from where he was sitting and moved very close to Hira there faces were almost touching as he leaned in. Hira closed her eyes and silently willed this moment to go on forever but obviously it was not meant to be. Kagami came in through the mirror in time to see a paler then usual vampire draw back into his seat and much redder then usual werewolf look down at her hands. "So I think you should just rest once the day comes and we’ll speak more at night?" murmured the vampire.
Kagami sighed and mumbled something about stupid vampires, disappearing into the side of the mirror. As Takaji was walking down the corridor, however, Hira caught up with him.
"Takaji!" She yelled angrily. "Does the light even hurt you??" She demanded, standing in his path and crossing her arms defiantly. Takaji gave her a weary but surprised look.
"Well, no.." He said after a few seconds, shaking himself out of his surprise at her sudden change in attitude.
"Well why wait to talk then?" She questioned angrily, taking his hand in hers. "I’m sick of eating and sleeping and waiting to get three sentences a day out of you that aren’t in the form of yelling. Take me somewhere, and lets talk."
Takaji glared at her angrily, opening his mouth to hiss an angry reply to her, when he Kagami’s words rang in his ears. Next time you see her keep a civil tongue. He glared acidly as he remembered, but decided he may as well try anyway.
