| Harry Potter: Satan's Tool Of War | ||||||
| Today a spiritual war is waging on this earth. Satan and his forces are attacking both believers and non-believers. His tools of war have been increasingly more blatant and more effective as we hurtle towards the end time and the last of spiritual showdowns. One of the most obvious but yet most accepted by the Christian world is the series known as Harry Potter. Heres some food for thought; in 1999, a study showed that more than twelve million teens in the world were involved in Satanism or Witchcraft. This same study also pointed out that there were between fifty to sixty thousand human sacrifices that year. (1) The Harry Potter series are filled with occultic themes and storylines. There is only one person responsible for all this evil. This person is Satan, the devil himself. When asked how she came up with Harry Potter, author J.K. Rowling said, Harry just strolled into my head fully formed. (2) In the first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, Harry is told that there is no good and evil, there is only power and those too weak to seek it. Isaiah 5:20 says Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... This is definitely an indicator that God thinks there is good and evil. As in many other childrens books, there is a hero and a villain. In Harry Potter, Harry of course, is the hero, and the villain is a man by the name of Lord Voldemort. (More commonly referred to as He-Who-Must-Not-be-Named.) This may sound very strange, especially to religious Jews, who as in respect for God did not even use the vowels of His name Jehovah or Yahweh and instead used JHVH or YHWH. When the Pharisees asked Jesus who He was He replied, I Am that I Am. So Harry, a witch, is the hero; and Voldemort, the villain, is likened to God. Another blatant reference to the occult world that can be recognized both by the believer and non-believer is a reference to a real world scientist by the name of Nicolas Flamel, a 14th century Frank that supposedly discovered a way to transform metal into gold. On page 220 of The Sorcerers Stone, the headmaster of the school Harry attends tells of his partner Nicolas Flamel who was celebrating his 666th birthday that year. How obvious can you get? I will take the time to explain one more Satanic and again blatant reference in Harry Potter. It is a mockery of the story of creation and salvation. Until this time in the series, Lord Voldemort had no shape. By using this spell he was able to take on a body. Bone of the father, unknowingly given, you will renew your son! Flesh of the servant willingly given, you will revive your master. Blood of the enemy forcibly taken you will resurrect your foe. The bone unknowingly given is the taking of the rib of Adam while he was sleeping. The flesh of the servant and blood of the enemy is of Gods servant and Satans enemy Jesus, while he was on the cross. There are many more, which I will briefly state here. If you want any more information I highly suggest the video from John Hagee and Caryl Matrisciana entitled, Harry Potter: Witchcraft Repackaged. The prison guards of Azkaban are called dementors. People in the real world that dont have magical powers can feel their presence, though they cant see them. The lightning bolt on Harrys head is a reference to Satans prime symbol (Luke 10:18) and the Mark of the Beast. (Revelation 13:16) Other Satanic groups such as KISS, (Knights in Satans Service) display the lightning bolt.
