A Kiss for a Lover
The Explorer

Slowly, silence drips from the ceiling
A feeling of helplessness encompasses those who are not familiar.
Neither up nor down, right nor left matter,
It is as the deep, dark sea, soothing to some, terrifying to others.

Large creatures stand sentinel in the deepest night,
Being created by water, destroyed by time.
A figure whirrs past, chittering,
Sightless, but not helpless, in this darkness.

You stumble across the threshold,
Having neither light nor hope.
Tripping deeper into the maze,
The blackness surrounds you.

The air is moist, a cooling air,
That wraps aruond you as you slither deeper into its domain.
Your hands stretch out in front of you,
Feeling, trying to guide your way out.

Your hand touches moisture, slickness,
And you recoil as if you had touched a leper.
You try to look around you, becoming panicked now,
Yet there is no escape for you.

Days pass in darkness, and the madness grows within you.
You batter yourself upon the cool rocks,
Losing your step and tumbling,
Down into the abyss.

The sentinels watch over you,
As your body slowly rots in this place.
Time crawls so slowly,
No more hurriedness for you.

The creatures come to feast,
Come to taste your lifeless flesh.
Yet you still cannot break away,
Your spirit remains stranded in this darkness.

A single kiss
Your lips touch mine
I drown in sheer bliss
And lose track of time.

I tremble at your touch
Long to be your wife
I want to please you so very much
And be important in your life.

To be with you forever
Is the ideal I hold so dear
The cord cannot be severed
I'll always be near.

My goal in life
To give you love
To be your wife
Your mate, your dove.

Take strength from me
I give you my soul
Your love energizes me
Without taking a toll.
Mates for Life
Bondmate, bedmate where are you now?
I search but cannot find you-
Lovemate, heartmate I need your support.
Come fill me with your soul-
Mindmate, playmate lend me your strength.
My search becomes long and tiresome-
Lifemate, deathmate come to me soon.
We have so much to do-
Together will we live,
To learn of the way and the path.
In life shall we prosper,
But in death we will live yet again,
Our two sould made one.
