NATHDWARA

  The shreenathji.jpg (3888 bytes)most reverred 17th century shrine, dedicated to Shrinathji or Lord Krishna, attracts thousands of pilgrims from all over the country, especially during Diwali, Holi and Janmashtami when their number exceeds a lakh. Foreign tourists are not permitted inside and photography is prohibited. Nathdwara is located on Udaipur-Jaipur Highway and is 68 Km/ 42 mile from Udaipur. It is very small town but one of the most highly visited place in Rajasthan.

SHREENATHJI TEMPLE : Shreenathji temple is located in the heart of Nathdwara. The temple is handled by Temple Board Trust. The approximate darshan timings are as follows.

1st Half Timings*
Mangala 05.45 A.M.
Shangar 07.30 AM to 8.00 AM
Gwal 08.15.AM to 08.30 AM
Rajbhog 10.30 AM to 11.30 AM
 

 

2nd Half  
Uthapan 16.00 PM to 16.30 PM
Bhog Aarti 17.00 PM to 17.30 PM
Shayan 18.00 PM to 18.30 PM
   

* The timings change as generally dependent on  the season.

The darshans are of short duration and the temple is always  crowded during darshans. Hence beware for pickpocketeers during your darshan
