| The Witching Hour |
It was dark now, a clear night studded with stars. The moon cast silver light over his face as he walked over to her. "Go away, Griffin." Kestryl's sapphire eyes snapped up to meet his endless black ones. " I'm not in the mood to deal with vampires right now." Griffin shot her an amused look, a smirk touching his lips. " I'm sure you don't mean that." The amused look evapourated into one more intimidating. " Now come on. We need to talk." Kestryl glared at him, blue fire in her eyes, but wisely kept her temper in check. She was all too aware of the fact that she was only human, and he was a centuries- old vampire. The two walked in silence for a while, settling into the rythmic silence of the night. No one payed any attention to the inhumanly handsome, dark haired boy, nor his fiery, ebony-haired companion. Finally Kestryl shot Griffin a look, a quick glance of blue fire. when Griffin refused to look at her, she stopped walking until he too stopped and turned to look at her. |
Several inches shorter, Kestryl had to look up to meet his eyes. Her ebony hair cascaded around her shoulders to mid-back. " Griffin, what do you want?" Griffin's obsidian eyes darkned, blacker than the space between the stars. "Kestryl-" " The truth, Griffin.NOW. What do you want from me?" |
