�I tell you, she must be the world�s greatest girl,� David tells his friends.
�If I care I will take offense,� Holly says, keeping her attention to the CDs.
Samantha comes out of the backroom and closes the door behind her.
�So what did I miss?� Samantha asks.
�Another ten minutes of the Suzie Show,� Holly jokes, as she finally looks away from the CDs.
�She must be something special, for you to date her for over two weeks,� Samantha says, as she joins her coworker behind the counter.
�I�ll say,� David starts. �I even think of saying, �I love you.��
�Love?� Kenny says, shocked.
�You might know her from elementary school, but you only really know her for three weeks,� Holly states.
�What you don�t believe in love at first sight?� David asks.
�I don�t know about that,� Samantha starts, unaware she caught Kenny�s attention. �It seems a little unrealistic if you asked me.�
�Well, I didn�t,� David snaps and don�t notices Kenny seem angry.
�Don�t snap at her just because you fell so hard that you have to look up to see some worms,� Holly tells him.
�Sorry, Samantha, I guess I�m a little on edge,� David apologies, as Kenny returns to his calm appearance, as no one notices. �This never happens to me, I mean I develop feelings for girls before. There�s Jill, and then that French girl, whose name I could never remembers, from last year. But there just something special about Suzie, you know what I means?�
�Yeah,� Kenny whispers under his breath, after gives a quick glance at Samantha.
�David, you feeling okay?� Samantha asks, catching Kenny�s attention again.
�Hum, yeah, why?� David asks.
�I think you have some� wrinkles?� Samantha says, confused, as she points at some wrinkles under David�s eyes.
�Samantha, right,� Holly notices them too, as does Kenny. �Usually teenagers don�t get wrinkles till the Finals, or the FCAT.�
David rubs the wrinkles as he feels them, �Must be just stress about the way I feels about Suzie. Yeah, that must be it. I�m sure its nothing.�
�Nothing,� Kenny says under his breath.
The next day, class is in session, as Holly and David are currently in their Science class. The students are at their desks with their textbooks open as their teacher, Ms. Mesby is seating at her desk at the front of the room with her own textbook opened.
�Okay, David, read me what a half-life is,� Ms. Mesby says, but David just keeps his head down. �David, Mr. Masters.� But David keeps his head down.
�David?� Holly tries to whisper to her friend.
�Mr. Masters!� Ms. Mesby yells, finally getting David�s attention.
�Hum, y-yes,� David says, with several of his classmates laughing.
�I sorry if I bored you, David,� Ms. Mesby says, angry. �Now, if you aren�t too busy daydreaming, mine tell me what a half-life is.�
�Y-yes, ma�am,� David quickly looks down at his book, but realizes it on the wrong page and flipping through the pages as Ms. Mesby looks on angry and Holly looks worried.
After class had ended, Holly had joined her best friend, Kenny, by his locker as they see David joins Suzie.
�I�m telling you Kenny, something is strange going on with David,� Holly tells Kenny. �He seemed to have trouble hearing Ms. Mesby and, is it just me, or does David have more wrinkles today then he did yesterday.�
�It�s not just you,� Kenny answers. �The past week David�s hair had gotten whiter.�
�Yeah, I noticed that too,� Holly mentions.
The two friends look on at David and Suzie is happily talking.
Meanwhile at the Horsemen�s cave, Conquest is entering as Death, War, and Famine are talking around their orb, with Greling at the back.
�Conquest we need to talk,� Famine notices his comrade. �There seems to be a demon at work in Crestview Heights, one we didn�t send.�
�Who cares,� Conquest tells them.
�Can we really allow a third party demon to act on its own accord?� War asks.
�Why not?� Conquest walks pass his fellow Horsemen. �This demon might actually help us out in the long run.�
�That could be true,� War thinks out loud before realizes something. �Where had you been?�
�I was compiling a list,� Conquest says before arriving in front of Greling and hands him the list. �I want you to gather everything on this list.�
Greling takes the list, �Yes, master,� as Death watches closely.
�What it for?� Death asks.
�Just a little surprise for those little nuisances,� Conquest explains.
Later, after school had ended, Samantha is behind the counter of BookZ, with Jeremy on the other side.
�Is it just me, or is there hardly anyone here?� Jeremy asks his girlfriend.
�Well, we only been opened since August, the word hadn�t gotten out yet,� Samantha explains.
Just then Kenny and Holly enter and when they see Jeremy, Kenny�s preexisting smile disappears.
�Hi, guys,� Samantha greets her friends.
�Hi, Samantha, Jeremy,� Holly greets each of them separately.
�Hi,� Jeremy says, disinterested, before turning his attention back to Samantha. �So, are we on for that Halloween party?�
�Yeah,� Samantha answers with a smile, unaware that Kenny puts his jacket on the coat rack, looking depresses. �See how well things are when you take the time to ask.�
�I�m learning,� Jeremy says, before turning around and leaves.
�So you two are going to the Halloween party together?� Holly asks, realized that Kenny doesn�t want to hear anymore, but continues anyway.
�Yeah, we not serious or anything, but he seems to be the only guy who interested in me,� Samantha answers, as Holly watches Kenny with one eye, but seeing he�s not reacting. �Anyway, I�m not like David. I think I can only handle one relationship at a time.�
�Well, that seems to be changing,� Holly says, deciding to change the topic. �And on that subject, had you notices something different about David?�
�Actually, I had,� Samantha answers, as Kenny joins her behind the counter. �I saw him during PE and he seems to have gotten tired fast. David usually very athletic is he?�
�Yeah, last year, he ran laps around me,� Holly explains. �But then again, he was running, I was walking slowly.�
�Something does seem to be wrong with him,� Kenny says, looking at the cash register when he notices an old man entering through the front door. �May we help you?�
�K-Kenny,� the old man says before collapsing to his knees.
�Whoa,� Holly says, as she and her friends rush to his side.
�Are you okay?� Samantha asks as she knees by his side, with Holly on his other side and Kenny bending over behind Holly.
Holly notices the old man�s wallet had fallen out of his pocket and she picks it up and looks at the man�s ID, �Oh my god.� Holly hands the wallet to Kenny and places one hand on the man�s face. �It can�t be.�
�What is it?� Samantha asks.
Kenny looks at the wallet and turns it around so Samantha can sees David�s driver license, �Its David.�
The three friends manage to get the aged David to his feet; help walks to the secret lab behind the backroom and explains everything to Henry, as they help David to seat on the table.
�Are we really sure it�s David,� Samantha mentions. �Maybe it�s someone who stole David�s wallet.�
�And knows Kenny�s name,� Holly says.
�There is one way to know for sure,� Henry says, before presses a button on the computer console. A red light emits from the top of the large computer that runs down David�s face and back up. A picture of young David�s face appears on the screen follows by a picture of the old David�s face, with several parts of their faces become highlighted (eyes, cheeks, noses, etc.), before the words �Matched-100%� appears on the bottom of the screen. �It�s a perfect matched, they�re one and the same.�
�It a demon, right?� Samantha asks.
�It has to be,� Kenny answers, as he gets serious.
�But I don�t get how I was alerted to it,� Henry says. �There no way a demon can do such a grand change to David without been in the same plane.�
�I think we got something else to worry about,� Holly says, as everyone look at David and watches as he ages more, now with less hair on top of his head and more wrinkles covering his face.
�He age again,� Samantha says, frighten.
�Another five or seven years,� Henry guesses. �If we don�t do something, at this rate of rapidly aging, he will die.�
�How can we reverse it?� Kenny asks Henry.
�The only way I can think of, on the top of my head, is to kills the demon behind,� Henry instructs.
�Okay, then we will split up and find this demon,� Kenny says.
�It seems you noticed most of his changes at school, so you might want to try there,� Henry explains.
�Okay, I�ll catch out the school,� Holly says.
�We must hurry,� Kenny says.
Back at Crestview Heights North High School, Holly is walking down the nearly empty hallways.
�If I�m a demon, where would I hide,� Holly says before noticing a long mirror on the wall. �Mm, maybe it�s hiding in a mirror.�
�Hi, Holly.�
Holly turns around to see Suzie walking toward her. The two hadn�t talked much, actually Holly thinks they only talks in passing.
�Have you see David?� Suzie asks. �We suppose to meet after school.�
�He not feeling well,� Holly explains. �Came down with a bad� cold.�
�Oh, well I guess I will settle on a rain check with him,� Suzie says.
�Yeah, good idea,� Holly says before turning around and sees into the mirror. Behind her own reflection, instead of seeing Suzie�s reflection, Holly sees a dark red demon with four horns on her head and dresses in a green tunic. Holly�s expression changes to that of frighten.
�Is something wrong?� Suzie�s voice asks as the demon�s mouth move in the reflection.
�You?!� Holly says; as she turns her head with her frighten expression changes to anger.
�Yes, me,� Suzie says, as she changes into the demon Holly saw in the mirror. �I am Youck and when I sensed David�s strong life-force, I couldn�t help myself and I feed on his youth. He�s make for a perfect target. And kind of cute. If I wasn�t a demon or if he wasn�t a human, or if I�m not so evil that I killed my own creator, I might actually fall in love with him.�
�But he fell in love with you, how could you use him like that?� Holly asks.
�The world is made up of users and those who get used, it�s a fact of life,� Youck explains. �Which one are you?�
�Neither because only a wicked snake in the grass would uses someone�s feelings and then just throws them away later,� Holly tells her. �And I will never become someone like that.�
�Don�t matter, since you will die today,� Youck says, before launching a clawed hand at Holly. Holly ducks, causing Youck to breaks the mirror with her attack. Youck watches as Holly runs down the hallway and turn a corner. Youck slowly walks down the hallway, �You can�t run, you can�t hide, you can only die.�
Youck reaches the corner when Holly, completely in her armor, runs up and punches Youck in the cheek.
�How about I use you as a punching bag,� Holly says.
�We�ll see about that,� Youck rubs the spot on her cheek where she was punched. �But first let�s find a better battleground.� Youck snaps her finger and she turns into a bright red ball which hits Holly, turning her into a white glow, as the red ball and white glow fly up through the ceiling.
Meanwhile across the city at the shipping docks, the red ball and white glow lands couple feet away from each other and turns back into Youck and Holly, respective.
�Ah,� Holly takes in her surroundings. �The docks.�
�Perfect, now I can sink your battleship,� Youck says, before snaps her finger again and disappears from sight.
Holly looks on surprised, when she is hits across the cheek then hit in her stomach, causing her to falls down. Holly presses the �#� button on the Battle Gauntlet.
�Kenny, Samantha, come in,� Holly says through the com link she established. �I found the demon, but I need some help, we at the docks.�
�We on our way,� Kenny�s voice says, before the transmission ends.
Suddenly Holly is kicks twice in the stomach before she feels a foot on her stomach. Youck appears on top of Holly as she rubs her foot into Holly�s stomach.
�Get off,� Holly says, in pain.
�You didn�t say �please,�� Youck mocks.
�Please.�
Youck looks up to see Samantha, in her armor, had jumped toward her and fires a laser arrow. Youck moves out of the way, just as the laser arrow passes her and Samantha lands on her feet. Holly takes this chance and rolls out of the way, back toward Samantha.
�You won�t get away that easy,� Youck tells the girls as Holly returns to her feet.
�Who said we leaving.�
Youck turns to see Kenny, in his armor, is riding his Battle Cycle toward her. Kenny presses a button on the onboard console and lasers fire out of the cycles� front, but Youck snaps her finger and disappears and the lasers miss their target. Kenny skids his cycle to a stop and dismount as Samantha and Holly join him.
�Nice trick,� Kenny says.
�She can turn invisible at will, Youck could be anywhere,� Holly tells her friends.
�Youck, nice name,� Samantha says, as she looks around when suddenly she is hit hard in the side of the face.
�Did your parents ever tell you not to mock someone�s name?� Youck�s disembodied voice says.
�Battle Laser, Battle Ready,� Kenny presses the �1� button on his gauntlet, causing his Battle Laser to appears on his hand. �Did your parents ever tell you to fight fair?�
�No, but to be fair I didn�t have parents, but a creator.�
Kenny fires his weapon at where he thought Youck was, but nothing.
�Looking for me?� Youck�s voice says, before striking Kenny in the face and then kicks Holly to the side and then kicks Samantha across the face.
�Kenny,� Henry says, from the secret lab. �Presses five, zero, and star on your Battle Gauntlet, it will activate the spectrum vision. It allows you to see any physical object, visible or otherwise.�
�Understand,� Kenny says, and returns to his feet. He presses the �50*� buttons on his Battle Gauntlet, suddenly his visor turns a green tint and he can sees Youck. Kenny readies his Battle Laser at her, �I can see you.�
Kenny fires his Battle Laser repeating at Youck, causing to reappear. Kenny outspreads his arms to his sides and Samantha and Holly, both with their weapons, jump over him. Samantha fires a laser arrow at Youck, who gets hit with it. Then Holly chops down with her Battle Axe. Youck falls backward, injured.
�You won�t get away with that,� Youck says, as slowly returns to her feet while the Battle Defenders regroup. �I will get that boy�s life-force, and his youth, and your lives.�
Suddenly Youck grows to a giant size, over the Battle Defenders.
�Samantha, you got to pilot Battle Jet by yourself,� Kenny instructs.
�Got it,� Samantha agrees.
�All Mechadum Assemble!� Kenny commands, as he presses the �4� button on his Battle Gauntlet.
Across town, by the city�s docks, a platform rises up from the ocean. On the platform is Battle Warrior, next to it is Battle Tank, and on a higher platform behind the tank is Battle Jet.
The Battle Defenders turn into small balls of light and fly into their Mechadum. The Battle Defenders appear in their respective cockpits.
�Battle Warrior, Battle Ready!� Kenny readies his controls.
�Battle Jet, Battle Ready!� Samantha readies her controls.
�Battle Tank, Battle Ready!� Holly readies her controls.
The three Mechadum race off the platform and charge toward Angra.
The Defenders pull the needed switch and together say, �Transform and Combine!�
Battle Warrior�s eyes glow for a second before it jumps up. The cannon on Battle Tank, and the cannon�s platform, rise up. Battle Warrior lands on top of Battle Tank. Battle Tank splits into two halves, as the front and back rises up and connects to Battle Warrior�s legs, as the two remaining sides of Battle Tank disconnects. Battle Jet stops flying and starts hovering over Battle Warrior. A black with silver chrome helmet shoots out of the center of Battle Jet, before Battle Jet lands on Battle Warrior�s shoulder with its head sticking out where the helmet was. The front and back falls down and connects to Battle Warrior�s chest and back, as the remaining pieces of Battle Tank connects to Battle Warrior�s arms and hands. At the same time the cannon�s platform connects to the remaining of Battle Warrior�s back as the cannon connects to the spot below the platform. Then the helmet falls down on Battle Warrior�s head, causing the eyes to glow for a second.
The new Mechadum raises its arms before lowering them back at its sides, as its controllers call out, �Battle Mechadum, Battle Ready!�
�I might not be able to feed on that robot of yours, but I can still break it,� Youck snaps her finger and disappears from sight.
�Oh great,� Samantha says, inside her cockpit. �How are we supposed to track her without David? I can�t reach those controls.�
�There got to be a way, think,� Kenny says, inside his cockpit.
Then Battle Mechadum is hit across the chest then again in the other direction, then it is knocked backward and another attack is launches down its chest.
�I don�t believe this!� Holly cries, inside her cockpit. �We are been knocked around!�
�It can�t end like this,� Kenny says, under his breath, inside his cockpit.
Back at the secret lab, David ages more, now with no hair on top of his head and barely any on the side of his head, with his eyebrows thinning and David gasps a little.
�He ages again,� Henry says, before facing the large computer and says into his earpiece. �David is running out of time, there isn�t long before he dies.�
�NO!� Kenny yells, inside his cockpit. �I won�t let her destroys David. We will beat her.�
�But how?� Holly asks, inside her cockpit.
�Follow my lead,� Kenny answers, inside his cockpit.
Battle Mechadum suddenly flies up and lands into the ocean by the docks.
�What are those fools doing?� Youck�s disembodied voice asks.
Battle Mechadum starts to spin around rapidly, causing a whirlpool around it, before Battle Mechadum flies back up, with the whirlpool of water following it. Battle Mechadum stops spinning, causing the whirlpool to fall apart and it rains on top of the docks, causing Youck�s silhouette to be visible.
�There!� Samantha spots her, inside her cockpit.
�Release the Battle Sword!� Kenny commands, inside his cockpit.
The cannon�s platform on Battle Mechadum�s back splits open as a sword handle pop up. Battle Mechadum reaches behind itself to grab the sword handle and pull it out, revealing a large metallic in appearance double bladed sword.
�I�m in trouble,� Youck says, as her silhouette is still visible.
The jets on Battle Mechadum�s back fires, causing it to speeds forward and perform a sideward strike on Youck. The jets stop and Battle Mechadum takes a fighting stance with its sword as behind it, Youck becomes visible after the rain stops and is consume in a big explosion.
Back at the secret lab, Henry turns to see David returns back to his normal teenage age.
�It worked, he�s back to normal,� Henry tells the Battle Defenders through the com link.
Later on, David and Henry are looking at the large computer in the secret lab.
�Because Youck disguises herself as a human, our systems didn�t warn us of her, incredible,� Henry says.
�Yeah, had you found her yet?� David asks.
�Here we go,� Henry says, as they look at database information of Suzie, whose picture is the same as Youck�s disguise. �It seems she still living in Ft. Walton Beach.�
�But I don�t get how she knows about her,� David wonders.
�If I have to guess, I�ll say she must have read your past when she senses your life-force,� Henry answers. �And for a demon who powers rely on life-force energies, it wouldn�t be hard for her to disguise herself as a modern day Suzie.�
�That would explain why she didn�t tell me anything about the past several years,� David says. �I was a fool.�
�Pardon?� Henry asks.
�I fell in love with a demon,� David says. �I�m Phoebe Halliwells.�
�Chances are, it was just a side effect of Youck feeding on your life-force,� Henry tells her.
�Still, after all the girls I had dated, I thought I had fallen in love,� David says, starting to sound depresses. �I�m starting to think I will never fall in love.�
�When you truly fall in love, you will know it,� Henry tells him, but realizes David is disbelieving. �I met my wife in college. When I saw her, she�s so beautiful, so smart, and so kind. When I saw her, I know she was special. And I know I�m in love. That when you know you�re really in love.�
�Do you think it will happen with me?� David asks.
�I�m sure it will,� Henry answers with a smile.
�Thanks,� David says before starting to leave.
David exits the backroom, with Kenny behind the counter, Holly on the other side, and Samantha stocking some books.
�Hey, David, how are you doing?� Holy asks, but David continues to walk pass them.
�David?� Kenny asks, as David continues to the exit.
�David,� Samantha says, worried.
�What?� David turns his head, and talks like he not sure they say anything.
�A-Are you okay?� Samantha asks, as the three of them are worried.
A smile appears on David�s face, �Got ya�.�
David turns around and leaves as he laughs, as his friends shake their heads and return to business.
Back at the Horsemen�s cave, Greling returns holding a full, and heavy, bag.
�Here you go, master,� Greling says as he hands the bag to Conquest.
Death looks over Conquest�s shoulder into the open bag.
�What are you planning, Conquest?� Death asks.
�A little treat for the Battle Defenders,� Conquest answers. �Or should I say trick.�

But when Conquest�s plan leaves Samantha as the last Battle Defender standing, can she save the day before Halloween becomes the end of her friends.
