�C�mon, Kenny, you got to go to the dance,� Holly tells her best friend, as the two are walking down a hallway.
�Actually, I don�t,� Kenny says, as he doesn�t remember a school rule about going to the Homecoming Dance.
�Kenny, its okay if you don�t have a date,� Holly tells him, as the two come to a stop. �You can go by yourself. Nobody would think of anything about it.�
Kenny lowers his head for a moment, as he�s thinking, before brings it up to Holly, �I�ll think about it.�
�I�ll accept that,� Holly says, as she starts back down the hallway with Kenny behind her.
Not too far from Kenny and Holly, David turns a corner when he sees the beautiful Suzie. David still doesn�t believe she�s the same overweight girl from Elementary School. David then walks toward Suzie, who smiles upon seeing him.
�Hey, Suzie,� David says.
�Hi handsome,� Suzie says, keeping a smile as she starts.
�Suzie, I was just wondering if you would like to go to the Homecoming Dance with me.� David asks.
�Well, I don�t know,� Suzie says, as she walks past David and stop. �I was planning on washing my hair.�
�Very funny,� David responses.
�I don�t want it to be too easy for you,� Suzie turns to face David. �I would love to go with you.�
�Great,� David says, now wearing a smile too.
Meanwhile, Jeremy walks past the lovebirds when he sees Samantha closing her locker after putting away some textbooks.
�Hey, Samantha,� Jeremy says, catching his girlfriend�s attention. �I was wondering when I should pick you up for the dance.�
�Well, usually before someone pick their date up for the dance, that someone asks their date to the dance,� Samantha tells him.
�I was just thinking since we�re dating, then it�s a given that we going to the dance together,� Jeremy explains.
�Well, its not,� Samantha says. �Yes, we been dating but you should till asks me to something like this if you want to go with me.�
�Did someone already ask you?� Jeremy says, as his voice slightly rises.
�No,� Samantha answers, not noticing that�s Jeremy seems angry.
�Well, what the problem?� Jeremy asks.
�The problem is that you took it for granted that I will go with you, and you shouldn�t,� Samantha says, before walking away.
Meanwhile at the Horsemen�s dark cave, War is standing behind Greling as Greling had placed a hand on the back wall of the cave, with Famine, Conquest, and Death around the orb in the center of the cave.
�I call upon the wicked and the evil. Come to me, come to this spot: Angra!�
A bolt of lightning shoots out of the cave�s roof and upon hitting the ground, a creature covers from head to a toe in samurai armor appears. Upon the helmet is a red face with yellow evils and large roll of teeth. On Angra�s back is a large staff with a spear at one end.
�Ah, Angra,� War says, upon seeing the demon. �Just the demon I want.�
�That�s my job,� Greling says.
�Why don�t you go play with matches on top of a leaking gas pump,� War tells Greling before changing his attention back to Angra. �Angra, I want you to go into the city and feeds on people�s anger.�
�It�s my reason for being,� Angra says.
�I always wondered,� Death mocks.
�Death, please, insult your own servants,� War tells him.
�Just be glad he�s not killing them,� Famine says.
Back at Crestview Heights North High, David and Suzie are walking down the hallway together, as he�s walking her to her next class. Suddenly they see April, a blond girl who is neither beautiful nor ugly, walks up to Jackson, captain of the football team.
�Hum, Jackson,� April says, nervously, getting the football player�s attention.
�Yes,� Jackson says to her, only half-interested.
�I heard you don�t have a date for the upcoming dance yet,� April starts. �So, I was wondering if you like to go to the dance with me?�
Then Jackson breaks out into a laugh, putting a worried look on April�s face.
�You got to be joking, I won�t go with you if you�re the last living creature on the planet,� Jackson says, fighting back more laugher. �You really think I would go out with you. You got to be kidding.�
As Jackson continues to laugh, April starts running away with tears in her eyes.
�Some people can be so cruel,� David says, before he and Suzie start back down the hallway.
Not too much later, April runs out of the school building and stands behind one of the pillars supporting the overhanging roof. April fails to fight back her tears as they roll down her cheeks uncontrollably. She looks to her right to see a shadowy figure heading toward her. As the figure gets closer, April realizes it�s someone in samurai armor. It�s Angra!
�I can sense your anger,� Angra says, as he voices echo in April�s head. �Your anger at been rejected. Your anger at having your heart�s broken. So much anger, just boiling inside, till you must finally releases it.�
Suddenly, April�s tears stop fall down her cheeks and her face quickly changes into an angry expression.
�I don�t understand the problem,� Jeremy says, after catch back up with Samantha. �We�re dating, so of course we go to the dance together.�
�That it, you don�t understand,� Samantha tells him. �Yes, we�re dating, but you should still ask me to the dance. You shouldn�t just think because we are dating that we are going to the dance without asking me. I could go with someone else.�
�Who, that guy you work with?� Jeremy asks her.
�Kenny and I are just friends,� Samantha explains. �I just don�t you want to take it for granted that I�m go to the dance with you.�
Samantha and Jeremy rounds a corner in the hallway, as Kenny and Holly pass them.
�Sound like trouble in paradise,� Holly says, noticing a smile on Kenny�s face. Then April walks between the two, knocking into their shoulders. �Whoa, April watch it.�
�Don�t you know where Jackson is?� April asks, with a deepen voice.
�Hum, no, something wrong?� Holly asks, noticing something is different with her classmate.
�That lousy accuses of a man rejected me when I asked him to the dance,� April says.
�Oh, I�m sorry,� Holly says, trying to sound sincere.
�Don�t be, but he will be,� April tells them, before walking away.
�That�s different, she�s usually so quiet, almost like a female Kenny,� Holly says.
�Thanks,� Kenny says, with a sarcasm tone.
Later on in the day, Kenny is with David next to his locker, when suddenly Kenny�s Transformer ring.
�Hello,� Kenny answers his Transformer.
�Kenny, I had detected a demon in the city,� Henry says, over the Transformer.
�A demon,� Kenny says, catching David�s attention.
�Yeah, but I can�t seem to pinpoint his location,� Henry tells him. �It might be like Vanity and he�s hiding in another dimension.�
�Well, what are we going to do?� Kenny asks.
�Nothing for now, I guess but I�ll try to find his exact position,� Henry tells them. �David�s with you, right? Well, then I�ll call the girls and tell them.�
�Okay,� Kenny says before closing his Transformer and notices David is waiting. �He can�t pinpoint his location, we have to wait.� Kenny then notices how light David�s hair is. �Are you feeling okay?�
�Yes,� David tells him, as he returns his attention to his locker. �Why?�
�Well, your hair looks a little lighter then notice, almost white,� Kenny tells his friend.
�Probably nothing,� David tells him, and then closes his locker. David notices April is walking toward them. �Hey, April.� But April don�t respond, she continues to walk when David and Kenny notices she�s heading toward Jackson, who is by his own locker. �Okay.�
�She was rejected,� Kenny mentions.
�Yeah, but it look like she�s out for blood,� David tells them.
That when Kenny notices April pulls an army knife out and a long knife comes out of it.
�Oh my god.�
�Its time for you to pay,� April says, with a deep voice. But then David and Kenny each grab April by an arm. �Hey, what are you�re doing?�
Then Kenny and David pull April into a nearby empty classroom. Once in, David closes the door behind them and stands in front of it, like he was guarding it, while Kenny takes the army knife from April.
�What are you doing?� David asks, as Kenny closes the army knife.
�He doesn�t deserve to live,� April tells them. �He broke my heart and now he�ll die.�
�Whoa,� Kenny pushes April by the shoulders when she tries to pass them. �Thinking what I�m thinking,� Kenny says to David.
�Demon,� Kenny and David say together.
Later at BookZ, Samantha and Henry are behind the counter and Holly on the other side of the counter, when Kenny and David forces April inside.
�Let me go!� April yells, catching Samantha, Henry, and Holly�s attentions.
�David, Kenny, what�s going on?� Samantha asks as she round the counter.
�April just tried to kill Jackson,� David explains. �We think a demon had got to her.�
�That is a possibility,� Henry says, as he walks from behind the counter and stands in front of the back room. �I remember hearing about a demon that influences people�s anger to dangerous levels.
�Any luck finding the demon?� Holly asks Henry.
�No, I think he�s hiding in his own personal dimension till he senses a possible victim,� Henry says.
�Do you mind, I got a wrong to right,� April says, before starts toward the exit.
�Hey,� Kenny says, blocking April. �Two wrongs don�t make a right.�
�Ah, shut-up you bas-,� April starts.
�Okay, calm down,� Samantha interrupts her. �You guys better go in the back and try to find the demon; I will keep an eye on April.�
�Okay,� Kenny says, as they head to the back.
�Good luck,� Holly tells her.
Time passes, as Samantha waits behind the counter, as April is leaning against the wall next to the backroom entrance.
�This is ridiculous, I should be out there and squash that little bug,� April says, angry.
�You can�t kill someone, it�s a crime,� Samantha tries to explain.
�There is not a jury alive that would put me away,� April says.
�I hope I will never be that angry,� Samantha says, looking down, depresses. But then she is surprises to see Jeremy entering the bookstore. �Jeremy.�
�Hi, Samantha, can we talk?� Jeremy asks.
�Hum,� Samantha looks at April for second before walking around the counter. �Sure. What you want?�
:�I want to talk about before,� Jeremy starts. �I been thinking about it and you�re right. I should never have assumed that we were going without actually asking you.�
�I-I shouldn�t overacted the way I did,� Samantha explains. �I guess, it just you�re my first boyfriend, the first guy I ever dated, and I just afraid it will end badly.�
�Samantha, if I had any say, it won�t end at all,� Jeremy says, with a smile, causing Samantha to smile in reaction. �And it won�t end badly. Now would you go with me to the Homecoming Dance?�
�I think, I�m washing my hair that night,� Samantha jokes, with a large smile.
�Very funny,� Jeremy fights a laugher, as Samantha turns around and her smile disappears.
Samantha realizes April is missing, �April.� Samantha turns to Jeremy. �Where�s April?�
�The girl,� Jeremy says, doesn�t understand Samantha�s panic. �I think she left.�
�Oh my god,� Samantha says, as a frighten expression covers her face.
Suddenly, Kenny, Samantha, and David are in their armors and driving their Battle Cycles down the long tunnel till they reach a light. Sudden, the back wall of an alley slides back, revealing an opening in the ground, then the Battle Defenders ride their Battle Cycles out of the opening and down the long road, as the back wall closes over the opening.
�I don�t believe I let her go,� Samantha says, as the three riding their cycles.
�It isn�t your fault,� Kenny tells her.
�Still, I hope that Holly is right about claiming her down,� Samantha says.
�I don�t see how, I could be the better choice,� David mentions.
�Hum, David, I don�t know you very well,� Samantha starts. �But, what is the longest relationship you ever had?�
�Two weeks,� David answers.
�And let me guess, Suzie is the only one who you dated for two weeks,� Samantha interjects.
�Your point?� David asks.
�Holly is the better choice,� Kenny says.
�You coming up to Angra,� Henry�s voice appears over the Battle Defenders� comlinks in their helmets. �You better hurry; Angra is closing in on his next victim. And I�m afraid that Holly won�t be able to stop April from taking a human life.�
�Won�t worry, we will stop Angra,� David tells Henry.
�And Holly will stop April,� Kenny tells them all.
Back at Crestview Heights North High School, April is watching the football team practicing. But April�s focus is on Jackson. April slowly pulls a gun out of her pocket, but suddenly a grab her arm before the gun is fully out of her pocket. April turns her head to sees its Holly.
�We need to talk,� Holly tells her.
Holly manages to pull April into a storage room near the stands by the field. But before letting her go, Holly pulls the gun out of April�s pocket. Holly opens the chamber and lets the bullets fall to the ground.
�Give me that!� April yells and launches herself at Holly, but Holly uses her arm to push her away.
�Calm down,� Holly tells her and throws the gun to the ground.
�You don�t know what I�m going through!� April yells.
�Do you think you�re the only one who faces rejection?� Holly asks.
�Do you have a date for Homecoming?� April asks.
�Yes,� Holly answers, but regretting it.
�Then you have no idea about what�s I�m going through,� April explains.
�I hadn�t date much, but I do have my heart broken,� Holly explains. �And my best friend has huge feelings for this girl, but he can�t tell her. And he�s so blind by her, that any other girl is invisible to him.� Holly realizes that April is calming down, looking less angry and sadder. �Everyone has their hearts broken. Some worst then others. But what matter is you don�t let it destroy you. Of course you will be hurt, but you can recover. And once you do, then you don�t give up at finding love.�
�It won�t be easy, would it?� April asks.
�No, but it would happens,� Holly says, smile as April shares it. Holly�s Transformer starts to ring and she answers it. �Yeah?�
�Holly, the others had found Angra, but they�re having trouble,� Henry explains from the secret lab.
�On my way,� Holly answers.
Meanwhile across the city, Angra swings around his weapon and blocks a sword strike from Kenny. He then strikes Kenny with the blade of his spear
�Incoming!�
Angra looks up to see Samantha had jumped toward him and fires a laser arrow. Angra strikes down with his spear, cutting away the laser arrow. Angra swings around his spear, but Samantha lands and ducks under it. Samantha fires a strike with her Battle Bow, but the attack didn�t leave a scratch.
�Incoming!� Angra yells before striking away Samantha with his spear. He then sees David running toward him with his Battle Lance readied.
�Your spear VS my lance,� David challenges.
�I�ll turn that toothpick, and you, into dust!� Angra says, swings around his spear.
Angra and David�s weapons meet as sparks fly off at each blow. The two continue to swing around their respective weapons as attacks fail after attacks. Angra swings around his spear one more time before launching a stab, that knocks away David�s Battle Lance and hits him in the side, causing the young hero to falls down.
�Who next?� Angra asks.
�I am!�
Angra turns to see Holly, in her armor, riding her Battle Cycle towards him.
�Ha, do I sense a little anger in you?� Angra notices.
�I am angry,� Holly tells him, still riding her cycle. �Angry that you had hurt my friends. And I�m one girl you don�t want to be angry at you.�
Holly presses a button on her cycle�s onboard console, causing lasers to shoot out of the front of the cycle. But Angra uses his spear to swat away each lasers, leading to Holly have to ride around him.
�That spear seems to be his strength,� David explains.
�Then let�s take it away,� Samantha suggests.
�Right, Samantha attacks him with your laser arrows,� Kenny instructs. �Holly, when you see your chance, takes it!�
�Right!� both girls say at once.
Samantha starts firing laser arrows at Angra, who swats away each of them.
�HAHA! Fools, nothing you try will work!� Angra tells them.
�Think again!� Holly rides her Battle Cycle over Angra�s head and the front wheel knocks the spear out of his hands.
The spear flies toward David, who cuts it in half with his lance.
�My spear!� Angra says, angry. �You will pay for that!�
�Bill us!� Holly yells, as she jumps off her cycle with her Battle Axe and throws a downward strike at Angra.
Angra rolls onto the ground as smoke comes out of his chest. Angra returns to his feet.
�Listen little girl, I�m one demon you don�t want to be angry at all!� Angra tells her, as he grows to a giant size.
�All Mechadum Assemble!� Kenny commands, as he presses the �4� button on his Battle Gauntlet.
Across town, by the city�s docks, a platform rises up from the ocean. On the platform is Battle Warrior, next to it is Battle Tank, and on a higher platform behind the tank is Battle Jet.
The Battle Defenders turn into small balls of light and fly into their Mechadum. The Battle Defenders appear in their respective cockpits.
�Battle Warrior, Battle Ready!� Kenny readies his controls.
�Battle Jet, Battle Ready!� David and Samantha ready their controls.
�Battle Tank, Battle Ready!� Holly readies her controls.
The three Mechadum race off the platform and charge toward Angra.
The Defenders pull the needed switch and together say, �Transform and Combine!�
Battle Warrior�s eyes glow for a second before it jumps up. The cannon on Battle Tank, and the cannon�s platform, rise up. Battle Warrior lands on top of Battle Tank. Battle Tank splits into two halves, as the front and back rises up and connects to Battle Warrior�s legs, as the two remaining sides of Battle Tank disconnects. Battle Jet stops flying and starts hovering over Battle Warrior. A black with silver chrome helmet shoots out of the center of Battle Jet, before Battle Jet lands on Battle Warrior�s shoulder with its head sticking out where the helmet was. The front and back falls down and connects to Battle Warrior�s chest and back, as the remaining pieces of Battle Tank connects to Battle Warrior�s arms and hands. At the same time the cannon�s platform connects to the remaining of Battle Warrior�s back as the cannon connects to the spot below the platform. Then the helmet falls down on Battle Warrior�s head, causing the eyes to glow for a second.
The new Mechadum raises its arms before lowering them back at its sides, as its controllers call out, �Battle Mechadum, Battle Ready!�
�This should be a piece of cake, without his spear,� David says, inside his shared cockpit.
�Think again, Battle Defenders,� Angra tells them, before pushing his hand into a black hole in space.
�What in the world!� Samantha yells, in surprised, inside her shared cockpit.
Angra pulls his hand out of the black hole, which disappears soon after, and in his hand is a spear identical to the one he had. Angra swings around his weapon, as Battle Mechadum looks on.
�Don�t care me he got a supply of those,� Holly says, inside her cockpit.
�We broke one, we will break another,� Kenny tells his friends, inside his cockpit.
�What about a thousand!� Angra says, as a giant black hole appears behind him and suddenly thousands of identical spears shoot out of it.
Some of them fade away as they pass Battle Mechadum, but the others hit it straight on.
�There�s too many!� Samantha panics, inside her shared cockpit.
�Some of them aren�t even real,� David explains as he reads data off a computer screen, inside their cockpit.
�It doesn�t matter, if they are too fast for us to hit,� Holly explains, inside her cockpit.
�There got to be�� Kenny starts, inside his cockpit. �Wait, why didn�t he do this before?�
�That�s a good point,� David agrees, before entering some keystrokes and watches a computer screen, inside his shared cockpit, �That it! Listen guys, it seems those portals are too massive. If he tries to open one at his original size, he will lose control.�
�How that�ll help us?� Holly asks, inside her cockpit, as Battle Mechadum continues to be hit by the flying spears.
�We need a distraction that big enough to severe his connection with the portal,� David starts to think, inside his shared cockpit.
�What would happen if his entire body enters that portal?� Samantha asks, inside their cockpit.
�Well, there was a small surge of energy just when he put in one hand, so I guess it will causes a massive surge of energy, almost like a power station creates an overload of energy,� David explains, inside their cockpit.
�Enough, to distract him?� Kenny asks, inside his cockpit.
�Samantha�� David starts, inside his shared cockpit.
�On it,� Samantha answers, inside their cockpit.
The Battle Mechadum�s jets fire, causing it to flies toward Angra, as the spears continue to hit it.
�What are you, suicidal?� Angra asks, as he holds up his spear in defense.
Battle Mechadum grabs the spear as it flies, and slams Angra backward into the portal. Battle Mechadum lets go of the spear as it flies back, as black energy surrounds Angra. Battle Mechadum lands and looks on as the black portal collapses and Angra falls to his knees as the black energy slowly starting to disappear but still remains. Angra returns to his feet, tired and weaken, but still wants a fight.
�Kenny, end this,� Holly says, inside her cockpit.
�Release the Battle Sword!� Kenny commands, inside his cockpit.
The cannon�s platform on Battle Mechadum�s back splits open as a sword handle pop up. Battle Mechadum reaches behind itself to grab the sword handle and pull it out, revealing a large metallic in appearance double bladed sword.
The jets on Battle Mechadum�s back fires, causing it to speeds forward and perform a sideward strike on Angra. The jets stop and Battle Mechadum takes a fighting stance with its sword as Angra is consume in a big explosion behind it.
Later that night, at the Homecoming Dance at Crestview Heights North High School, Kenny walks to the punch table, but don�t get anything to drink. Then he notices Samantha and Jeremy is slow dancing. Kenny looks and starting to rethink about coming.
�There the hot couple,� Holly says, as she walks up to Kenny, causing him to notices David and Suzie also slow dancing. �So you came.�
�Yeah, Henry closed the bookstore because he was taking April�s gun to the police,� Kenny explains. �And I�m TiVoing Heroes, so I decide to come.�
�Glad you came,� Holly says.
�Where your date?� Kenny notices Holly is alone.
�Oh, he got a bad taste of zit,� Holly starts. �He refuses to leave the house with it. And I can really pick them.� Holly then notices Kenny is back to looking at Samantha and Jeremy and becoming depresses again. �Let�s dance.�
Holly grabs Kenny�s arm and starting to pull him to the dance floor.
�I�m not much of a dancer,� Kenny tries to tell her.
�I wasn�t asking, now come on,� Holly says, finally convinces Kenny to follow her onto the dance floor.
Kenny nervously takes Holly�s hands and the two starts dancing. As the music plays and the dance rolls on.
