�As you remembered,� Ms. Mesby says, as she walks down an aisle between her students� desks. �On the first day of school I told you, you will have to partner up with a classmate for a project due at the end of the semester. So today you will get started.� A male student raises his hand for a question. �No, Keith, you can�t choose your partner.� The student lowers his head, as Ms. Mesby reaches her desk at the front of the classroom before turning around to face her students. �I will assign your partner.�
There is a silent moan throughout the room, as Ms. Mesby picks up her class roster and opens it, �Let�s see, Teri, you will be partner up with Keith.�
�Ah, great, the poster child for zit cream,� Teri says, obvious upset.
�William and Mark, Sara and Willow,� Ms. Mesby continues to read names as she assigns partners. �David and Holly.�
Upon hearing their names been called, David and Holly look up and then look at each other, surprised at been made partners.
After class had ended, David and Holly had joined Kenny by his locker, as the two are arguing.
�I swear we should do our project on how different mounts of light affect the same type of plants and then how mounts of water affect them,� David tells Holly.
�And what should we do when the class fell asleep?� Holly mocks.
�And what�s your genius plan?� David asks.
�Something that involves the solar system,� Holly says.
��Something that involves the solar system,�� David says, mocking her. �Why don�t you just say something that involves science, that might be a little more vain.�
�At least I don�t come up with ideas that boring and stupid,� Holly says.
�Yeah, you come up with no ideas,� David tells her.
�You believe this, Kenny?� Holly asks her friends.
�No,� Kenny says. �I don�t believe you two had been arguing about this since you came out of the classroom.�
�We�re arguing because of him,� Holly points to David.
�Me, no, you�re the stubborn one here,� David tells her.
Kenny sticks his head in his locker, �Where�s a demon when you need one?�
Meanwhile, within the Horsemen�s dark cave, Greling has his hand place on the far side of the cave as War is standing behind him and the other Horsemen are standing around the orb.
�Hurry up, already,� War says, getting impatience.
�This is a process, master, just wait a minute,� Greling explains. �I call upon the wicked and the evil. Come to me, come to this spot: Argunor!�
A bolt of lightning shoots out of the cave�s roof and upon hitting the ground, a creature, covers in black armor with two red glowing eyes emitting from the darkness in his helmet, appears.
�Ah, Argunor,� War says, as he passes Greling, pushing him to the side in the process. �Long time, no see.�
�Master,� Argunor, upon seeing War, gets down on one knee and bows in front of him. �It�s a honor to serve you once again.�
�Rise,� War tells Argunor, who returns to his feet. �I want you to go to Crestview Heights and use your power to incense arguments between those who are arguing and spread war throughout the city.�
�It will be a honor, my master,� Argunor says, bows for a second and then disappears in a blast of black light.
�Now that demon won�t burn down the city,� War says.
�Everyone is a comedian,� Famine says, before returning his attention to the orb with the other Horsemen.
Within Crestview Heights, a man and woman, a married couple, are walking out of their house toward their car.
�I�m tired of the devil incarnated coming over every week,� the man says.
�I told you to stop calling my mother that,� the woman says.
Not too far from, Argunor sneaks up behind a tree.
�Ah, perfect,� Argunor says. �I love nothing more then causing fights between a married couple and then watches as their love is replaced by hate and then death.� Argunor�s hands glow blue before he points his arms forward and shoots blue beams at the couple, shocking them for a second before they start acting like nothing happened.
�Listen witch, I�m the man of this house and if I say your mother won�t come over, she won�t!� the man yells.
�Oh, the big tough man of the house, you�re nothing but a wimp who cries for his mommy in his sleep,� the woman says, getting angrier.
�Don�t give me a reason,� the man says.
�Just try it and you joins your mother,� the woman threats.
�This is fun,� Argunor starts walking away from the tree as the couple is continuing arguing. �Now time to start more wars.�
Argunor is starting to walk across the street when he sees the Battle Defenders ride up on their Battle Cycles. They come to a stop and dismount.
�Alright, let�s end this quick and returns to school,� David says. �Or my math class will think I�m struck in the bathroom.�
�Right, let�s hurries back for the genius that is David,� Holly mocks.
�Enough,� Samantha says, already getting annoyed at her friends� arguing. �Now, what do you want?�
�Simply, to causes as much havoc as I want,� Argunor tells them.
�We won�t let you do that,� Kenny tells him.
�Like you can stop me,� Argunor says, before holding up piles of dust in his hands. �Sselmrof Epahs Sekat Mrof!�
The dust shoots into the air and comes together to creates a small army of Dustoids.
�Dustoids, again,� Holly says.
�Thanks for speaking the obvious,� David mocks.
�Let just take care of this,� Kenny says, before he and his friends rush toward the Dustoids.
Kenny blocks an arm swipe from a Dustoid before kick it in the chest and then back kick an approaching Dustoid. Samantha flips backward away from couple Dustoids� sword strikes. Upon landing, she catches another sword strike, bends the arm backward and kicks its owner in the chest twice. She flips it onto its back and then turns around to kick an approaching Dustoid.
David catches two sword strikes as they cross in front of him. David then pushes the arms up and split kicks two Dustoids. He then knees down and trip an approaching Dustoid, causing to spin in midair before its fall to the ground. Holly raises a knee to block a kick from Dustoid, she then uses her other leg to kick it away. Holly then catches a sword strike from behind; she hits her attack�s arm with an elbow before she kicks the Dustoid away.
Argunor watches as the Battle Defenders continue fighting the Dustoids, with his focus mainly on David and Holly. �Mm, interesting there seems to be a small feud between Battle Green and Battle Orange. And any small feud could, and with a little help, will become more.�
Argunor�s hands glow blue before reaches out with them and shoots blue energy at David and Holly, shocking them for a quick second, before they fall to their knees.
�David, Holly!� Kenny yells, seeing his friends in trouble, before kick away a Dustoid and rushes toward them.
�No!� Samantha yells, and then rushes forward her friends.
�Ah, this is enough fun for now, bye-bye,� Argunor says, before disappears in a blast of black light.
�Are you guys okay?� Kenny asks, as he grabs Holly�s shoulders from behind.
�I-I think so,� Holly tells him. �I don�t feel any different.�
�Which is too bad,� David says, as he nods his head with Samantha kneeing beside him. �If you�re different, then we all will be better off.�
�What�s that supposes to mean?!� Holly shouts.
�It�s meant the way it�s sounded!� David yells as he gets up.
�Loudmouth, little weasel,� Holly says and gets up, with Kenny and Samantha following after her.
�Watch who you call a weasel, witch,� David says. �Call me that again and you�ll be sorry.�
�Well, why don�t you pull out that toothpick you called a lance and make me sorry,� Holly tells him.
�I think we got a problem,� Samantha says to Kenny, as she stands behind David.
�We better get them to Henry,� Kenny tells her, as he stands behind Holly.
Minutes later at BookZ, Samantha is behind on the counter and leans on it, while Kenny is standing beside the counter and David and Holly continuing their arguing in front of their friends.
�And what you called that haircut, Scary Spice?� David tells Holly.
�Why don�t you just dig a hole and bury yourself in it,� Holly says.
�I might just do that with your breath,� David says, covering his mouth.
�Big talk coming from Edward Scissor-Toenails,� Holly insults him.
�Oh, very clever,� David says. �Did you came up with that, or did you have help?�
�And I thought my parents argue a lot,� Samantha says. �Those two make them look like honeymooners.�
Henry enters the room from the back room and sees they�re still arguing, �They�re still at it.�
�They turning the dirty dozens into the dirty thousands,� Samantha explains.
�Is there a way to break this spell?� Kenny asks.
�It looks like the only way is to kill Argunor,� Henry explains. �But till he shows himself again, I�m searching for alternates.�
�What are we suppose to do till then?� Samantha asks. �We need to get back to school before someone realizes how long we had been gone.�
�The only thing you can do is continue your normal life,� Henry says, as he turns to return to the back room, but stops. �And which include taking them with you.�
�Perfect,� Samantha says, as Henry returns to the back room
Back at school, Kenny and Samantha are in the hallway with David and Holly at their lockers.
�Their lockers are next to each other?� Samantha realizes. �This� going to be fun.�
�Like pulling teeth,� Kenny says, with Samantha looks at him, surprised he told a joke.
�Hey, watch the elbow,� David says, as Holly bumps him with her elbow as they are trying to go through their belongings in their lockers.
�Oh, sorry, I didn�t see you there,� Holly says. �You are very non noticeable.�
David slams his locker closes as Kenny notices Jeremy is heading toward them.
�Hey, Samantha,� Jeremy says, happily surprises Samantha.
�Hi, Jeremy,� Samantha says, with Jeremy notices Kenny. �Oh, this is my friend, and co-worker, Kenny.�
�Hey there,� Jeremy says to Kenny.
�Hi,� Kenny says, quietly.
�Hey, Samantha, I wonder if I can walk you to class,� Jeremy says to her.
�That would be nice,� Samantha says, with a smile, before turns to Kenny. �See ya� later, Kenny.�
�Bye,� Kenny says, quietly.
�I guess she couldn�t wait to get away from you,� Holly says to David.
�Okay, I had enough of you,� David tells her.
�Well, that�s something we had in common, because I also had enough of you,� Holly says.
�Maybe we should ends this now,� David says.
�I would love to,� Holly says.
Kenny realizes that they are going to fight and he step in between them, �Whoa, stop!�
�Get out of the way, Kenny, this witch has it coming,� David tells him.
�Ohhh, stop acting tough, you�re glad that Kenny is here because you don�t want to get beat by a girl,� Holly says.
�That�s it!� David leaps toward Holly, but Kenny holds him back with one arm while keeping Holly with his other hand.
�You two stop it, before someone see,� Kenny says. �Argh, I don�t believe I�m wishing for a demon attack, again.� Kenny finally pushes David away, �Enough! David goes to your next period. Holly c�mon, we�re late for History.�
Kenny grabs Holly�s arm and pull her down the hallway as David walks in the opposite direction.
�This is all of your fault!� an angry man yells as he gets out of his cars, just moments after it had hit another car in the center of a busy street.
�My fault?!� yells a man as he gets out of the second car. �You�re the one that ran the red light!�
�I was making a right turn, I had the right of way!� the first man yells.
�You loudmouth�� the second man says as he grabs his shirt and the two starts grappling.
Just couple feet away from them, Argunor is watching. He turns around and starts walking down the street as two women fall out of a department store as they fight over a dress and then Argunor walks pass a man fighting with a cop trying to give him a parking ticket.
�Now this is fun!!� Argunor yells, excited, as he raises his arms.
Meanwhile, in the secret room of BookZ, Henry is watching Argunor causes more chaos on the large computer monitor.
�Not good,� Henry says, and starts entering keystrokes. �The Battle Defenders are needed.�
At the city limits, Argunor is watching as two kids are fighting over a new bike.
�Ah!� Argunor is pleases at the sight. �Kids does the darnest thing.� Argunor then notices the Battle Defenders are riding up to him on their Battle Cycles. �You again.�
�This ends now,� Kenny says, as he and his friends get off their cycles and walk out in front of them.
As they walk, David and Holly bumps shoulders.
�Hey, watch where you�re going!� Holly says, angry.
�You�re the one that bumped into me!� David tells her.
�Don�t make me separate you two!� Samantha yells at them.
�Having fun?� Argunor asks his enemies.
�Henry said the only way to break the spell is destroying him,� Samantha says to Kenny. �So let�s do this.� As Samantha enters a fighting stance, Kenny nods in agreement.
�I don�t think so!� Argunor says, as he shoots two large green orbs from his hands hitting the Battle Defenders.
Large smoke blocks the Battle Defenders from sight, but then Kenny runs out of the smoke with his Battle Saber readied. Kenny launches a downward strike at Argunor, but he misses. Kenny tries a sideward strike, but Argunor blocks with a knee and then holds it down with his hand.
�I sense anger in you,� Argunor says to his pinned foe. �Have brother issues?�
Argunor pulls up Kenny�s sword, kicks him in the chest and then punches him away. Argunor looks up to see Samantha had jumped toward him with her Battle Bow. She fires a laser arrow at him, but Argunor effortful less knocks it away and then catches Samantha�s bow after she lands and then twirl around the bow, holding it down and crosses her arms.
�I hate no one,� Samantha says, realizing Argunor will try to senses anger in her.
�So you don�t hate that your parents argue all the time,� Argunor says to her. �And you fear that you�re the reason that your parents might get a divorce.�
�N-No, I-� Samantha is caught unaware.
Argunor pulls up Samantha�s bow, releasing her, and kicks her away. David and Holly stop their arguing for a second as they run to their fallen friends� aid. Kenny and Samantha start to get back to their feet without removing their eyes from Argunor.
�Have you realized it yet?� Argunor asks them. �Anger and hatred feel every human�s heart, and it will reveal itself in time. I just help it along.� Suddenly purple energy surrounds Argunor�s body as he grows. �Now let�s have some real fun!�
�We need the Mechadum,� David says.
�Yeah, just don�t get in my way,� Holly tells him.
�There�s no way, you two can work together with the Mechadum,� Samantha says.
�She right, you guys better seat it out,� Kenny tells David and Holly, before turning his attention to Samantha. �Let�s go.� Samantha nods in agreement. Kenny presses the �4� button on his Battle Gauntlet. �Mechadum Assemble!�
Across town, by the city�s docks, a platform rises up from the ocean. On the platform is Battle Warrior, next to it is Battle Tank, and on a higher platform behind the tank is Battle Jet.
Kenny and Samantha turn into balls of light and fly off to Battle Warrior and Battle Jet, respectively.
�Battle Warrior, Battle Ready!� Kenny yells, after appearing in his cockpit.
�Battle Jet, Battle Ready!� Samantha yells, after appearing in her cockpit. �I hope I can pilot this thing without David.�
Battle Warrior and Battle Jet race off the platform toward Argunor. Battle Warrior launches a punch at Argunor, but he catches it. Argunor then catches another punch from Battle Warrior and starts pushing both arms down.
�What wrong? Didn�t oil your robot today?� Argunor asks.
Argunor then releases Battle Warrior and punches it in the chest following with a side kick, knocking it backward. Battle Jet flies overhead and fires lasers at Argunor. Argunor holds up his hands as small explosions fire around him at each laser impact.
�Ha! Ha! I can sense your hatred from here,� Argunor says as he fires green orbs from his hands.
Battle Jet flies past the first orb, but the second hits one of the wings.
�I had been hit!� Samantha yells, inside her cockpit.
�You won�t make it to the ground,� Argunor says, getting ready to fire another shot, but Battle Warrior grabs it around the arms from behind. �Sorry, I don�t hug guys, or anyone for that matter.�
Argunor flexes his muscle to force Battle Warrior to release and back kick it. Argunor turns around and fires a green orb at the ground, causing it to shake. As David and Holly look up at the fight, they start to feel the ground shaking. Suddenly a crevice opens up in the ground. David loses his footing and falls in, barely able to hold on the side of the crevice but finds his self unable to pull up. Holly looks up to see David in trouble.
�David,� Holly says, as her body glows blue for a second before blue energy dissipates. �David!!� Holly runs to the crevice and stretches her hand at David. �Hurry, grab my hand!�
David grabs Holly�s hand and she manages to pull him out of the crevice. Once out of the crevice, the two seats on the ground, tired.
�Holly, you saved my life,� David says, as his body glows blue for a second before blue energy dissipates.
�It�s what friends are for,� Holly tells him, and then the two notices Battle Warrior and Battle Jet are fighting Argunor.
�Speaking of friends,� David says, as he and Holly return to their feet.
�Yeah, our other friends need us,� Holly says.
Battle Warrior is knocked backward after receiving an attack but remains on its feet.
�Now let�s end this,� Argunor says as he closes a fist, suddenly he is hits by a laser beam. �What the?!�
Argunor turns to see Battle Tank riding toward him.
�Holly, what�s going on?� Samantha asks, inside her cockpit.
�It�s okay,� David�s voice is heard. Samantha turns around to see David is inside the cockpit. �The spell is broken and we ready to kick some butt.�
�I couldn�t have said it any better,� Holly says, inside her cockpit.
�Alright, let�s go,� Kenny says, inside his cockpit.
The Defenders pull the needed switch and together say, �Transform and Combine!�
Battle Warrior�s eyes glow for a second before it jumps up. The cannon on Battle Tank, and the cannon�s platform, rise up. Battle Warrior lands on top of Battle Tank. Battle Tank splits into two halves, as the front and back rises up and connects to Battle Warrior�s legs, as the two remaining sides of Battle Tank disconnects. Battle Jet stops flying and starts hovering over Battle Warrior. A black with silver chrome helmet shoots out of the center of Battle Jet, before Battle Jet lands on Battle Warrior�s shoulder with its head sticking out where the helmet was. The front and back falls down and connects to Battle Warrior�s chest and back, as the remaining pieces of Battle Tank connects to Battle Warrior�s arms and hands. At the same time the cannon�s platform connects to the remaining of Battle Warrior�s back as the cannon connects to the spot below the platform. Then the helmet falls down on Battle Warrior�s head, causing the eyes to glow for a second.
The new Mechadum raises its arms before lowering them back at its sides, as its controllers call out, �Battle Mechadum, Battle Ready!�
�I don�t know how you broke my spell,� Argunor starts. �But I will break your bones!�
Argunor fires two green orbs from his hands at Battle Mechadum, which stop for a second before continue forward. Argunor fires a kick which Battle Mechadum blocks with an arm before Argunor punches it in the chest. Argunor then fires two green orbs from his hands at pointblank range, causing it to step back.
�Let�s end this fight,� Kenny says, inside his cockpit. �Release the Battle Sword!�
The cannon�s platform on Battle Mechadum�s back splits open as a sword handle pop up. Battle Mechadum reaches behind itself to grab the sword handle and pull it out, revealing a large metallic in appearance double bladed sword.
Argunor fires two more green orbs from his hands, but Battle Mechadum uses its sword to cut through each orb.
�You want anger, we�ll give you anger,� Samantha says, inside her shared cockpit.
The jets on Battle Mechadum�s back fires, causing it to speeds forward and perform a sideward strike on Argunor. The jets stop and Battle Mechadum takes a fighting stance with its sword as Argunor is consume in a big explosion behind it.
Back at BookZ, Kenny and Henry are standing behind the counter as David and Holly are standing in front of it and Samantha is near one of the shelves.
�It would seem that it was David and Holly�s friendship that break the spell, incredible,� Henry says, after David and Holly explained what happened.
�I�m glad it�s over,� Samantha says, as Henry walks through the door into the backroom.
�Yeah, and we had decided on a project for science class,� David says.
�Yeah, we�re doing that plant thing,� Holly says. �Oh, this is going to be fun.� Holly says as she walks over to the side of the counter.
�Don�t start,� David says, as he walks into the backroom.
Then Jeremy enters the store to Samantha�s glad.
�Hey, Jeremy,� Samantha says to him, before bring his attention to Kenny and Holly. �You remember Kenny? And this is his best friend, Holly.�
�Hi,� Jeremy says, before quickly returning his attention to Samantha. �Samantha, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me.� Jeremy manages to get Kenny�s attention.
�You mean on a date, I would love to,� Samantha says, excited, before manage to calm down. �I mean that sound nice.�
�Great,� Jeremy says, smiling.
Holly then notices Kenny looks depresses as Samantha and Jeremy are happily talking and Holly realizes that Kenny has feelings for Samantha.
