David is standing beside Henry, as he is working on the large computer that covers an entire wall. Three boxes appear on the computer screen. In one box is a humanoid robot with pieces of the color violet on it, but mostly black and gray. In the second box is a large tank with shades of the color orange, with the rest been black and gray. And in the final box is a large jet with shades of the colors green and pink but again is mostly black and gray.
�Those things are amazing looking,� David tells Henry, keeping his eyes on the machines. �What are they called?�
�Mechadum,� Henry answers, as he enters more keystrokes. �They should be online later today.� Henry then turns around from the computer to look at David. �Which reminds me, should you be on your way to school?�
�Well, I�m curiosity about what other stuff you got for us, I�m always had been interested in technology and the advancement that had been done,� David says, before looking at his watch for a second. �But, I probably should heads to school now. See ya� later.�
�Bye,� Henry says, as David leaves, before continues work on the computer.
Not too much later, at Crestview Heights North High School, Kenny and Holly are hanging out in front of her locker when they see David walking up to them.
�There you are, David,� Holly says upon seeing David. �We thought you going to be late for first period.�
�Yeah, I�m curiosity about the kind of tech Henry has for us,� David explains. �And also, on the way here, I was thinking that maybe we should have codenames like Battle Green and so on.�
�We�re not Power Rangers, David,� Holly tells him.
�Just think about it,� David tells her.
While his friends are talking, Kenny sees Samantha�s walking down the hallway toward them. As he watches her walk toward them, it almost like Kenny is in another world when he realizes she is watching toward them.
�Hey, guys,� Samantha says, stopping in front of the three friends.
�Well, isn�t Battle Pink,� David says.
�Pardon?� Samantha asks.
�David thinks we should have codenames,� Holly thinks her before lead in for a whisper. �You know, for our Battle Defenders lives.�
�Oh, yeah, that what I want to talk to you guys about,� Samantha starts. �Now, it was interested fighting that demon the other day, and I�m going to keep on doing it, but I think we should, when there isn�t a demon attack, try to keep to a normal life. No demon talk or talk about Battle Defenders till there is a demon.�
�I guess that makes sense,� David says.
�Saying Mr. Codename,� Holly mocks him.
�I just agree there should be a sense of normality, and I think I know how to get it,� David says. �The basketball tryouts are coming up.�
�Did last year you said you don�t want something like practice intervenes with dating,� Holly says, with Kenny nods his head in agreement.
�Things change,� David says. �Besides, there�re always cheerleaders.�
Suddenly a bell is heard throughout the school.
�The warning bell, need to go,� Samantha says, starting to walk pass her new friends. �Later.�
�Later,� Kenny says; who, now with Samantha�s stance on normality, only have their jobs at BookZ in common.
Later on in the day, Kenny is starting to walk between tables with his lunch tray in his hands. Kenny is looking around for Samantha, hoping to have lunch with her and maybe starts a conversation with her, if he can find the courage to talk to her, since to Kenny fighting demons is easier then talking to a beautiful girl.
Kenny finally sees Samantha, seating by herself and had started eating her lunch. Suddenly Jeremy came out of nowhere and seats next to Samantha.
�Hey there,� Jeremy says, putting a smile on Samantha�s face. �Bumping into anyone lately?�
�Hey that only happens on that one time,� Samantha tells him, while fighting back a laugher.
�Well, maybe it was like two magnets?� Jeremy guesses, before putting a French Fry in his mouth.
�Magnets?� Samantha asks.
�You know; attraction?� Jeremy says, causing Samantha to blushes as the two shares a laugh.
�C�mon, moves it,� a guy says, as he walks around Kenny, who had stopped between two rolls of tables.
�Sorry,� Kenny says, before returning his attention to Samantha and Jeremy, both of whom are still laughing. Kenny looks down for a second before turning around and walks away.
After lunch had ended, David spies Norman Lee, one of the basketball team�s leading players. He decides to walk up to him.
�Hey, Norman,� David says to him.
�Hum, hi, you�re David, right?� Norman says. �I remember seeing you playing basketball in the park. You�re petty good.�
�Yeah,� David agrees �Hey, when the tryouts today?�
�Two o�clock,� Norman answers. �Are you going to tryout?�
�Yes,� David tells him.
�Well, it won�t be easy,� Norman says. �The tryouts or the practices.�
�Well, I�m a tough player,� David tells him.
�That what some of the girls said,� Norman says, walking away with a chuckle.
David thinks for a second before realizing it, �That not what I meant!�
Within the dark cave, Death, War, Famine, and Conquest are waiting for Greling to returns.
�How long does it takes that worthless creature of yours to return,� Famine says to Death.
�You the one that wants Greling to go and get him instead of just summoning him,� Death says.
�We all know how Flarlord is, chances are he sends Greling back as a pile of ashes,� Conquest says.
�If that happens then you just build a new one out of a set,� War says, with a chuckle.
Suddenly, Greling starts into the cave, covering in burnt marks.
�Flarlord, masters,� Greling says, with behind him is a large red bared chest creature whose body is seemly made out of frozen fire with a sword in one hand with the blade made out of fire.
�You summoned me?� Flarlord asks.
�I did,� Famine tells him. �I want you to create the ultimate drought by burning the moisture in the air and if anyone tries to intervene, burn them alive.�
�It would be my pleasure,� Flarlord tells his new master.
Meanwhile, school had ended and Kenny and Holly are walking down a sidewalk.
�Kenny, are you okay?� Holly says, realizes that Kenny�s mind is elsewhere. �You�re very quiet, more then usually, so of.�
�Hum, I guess I have something on my mind,� Kenny tells her.
Suddenly, Kenny and Holly see an apartment building on fire, with people panicking around it and the firemen fighting a losing battle while trying to pull out of the fire.
�Oh my god,� Holly says, as she and Kenny looks on frighten.
They then overhear a woman rushing over to one of the fireman.
�Please, my little girl is still up there,� the woman cries, with tears running down her cheeks. �Please, you got to save her.�
�Kenny,� Holly says, and then notices Kenny is holding up his Transformer.
Kenny and Holy share a nod before running away into an alleyway. The two opens up their Transformers and press the triangle button, �Transformation!� Suddenly, their transformers break apart and reassemble as their armor.
�Demon fighters one day, firefighters the next,� Holly says to Kenny.
�Let�s do this,� Kenny says.
The two rushes out of the alleyway and run into the burning building, catching strange looks from people.
�Well, that not something you see everyday,� a fireman says to another fireman.
�You didn�t watch a lot of TV when you were kid, did you?� says the other fireman.
Now inside the burning building, Kenny and Holly are hurrying through smoke and pass fires, as they�re trying to find their way.
�There got to be an easier way to become heroes,� Holly says, as they looks around.
Suddenly, Henry�s voice appears over a com link, �Kenny, Holly, what are you doing?�
�We are taking a midday stroll,� Holly jokes.
�There�s a girl trapped in here,� Kenny explains.
�Okay, I understand,� Henry says. �I�m sending information on how to detect human heat signals, it should be able to tell the difference between human and fire.�
Then �5#6� appears in Kenny and Holly�s visors. The two presses the same buttons on their Battle Gauntlets. Suddenly their view through their visors turns blue with the fire turns green. They look up and sees a blob of red in the shape of a little girl through the ceiling.
�She�s couple floors up,� Kenny says.
�The stairs are over there,� Holly points down the hallway. �Let�s go.�
Kenny and Holly hurry up several flights of stairs before they reach the floor below the top floor. They walk down the long hallway, looking back and forth as they try to find the heat signal again. Then Kenny spots it.
�There!� Kenny kicks down the door.
The two friends then hear a little girl screaming and coughing, �Help! <cough> Someone <cough> Help!�
�We�re our way!� Holly yells.
Kenny and Holly are about to go forward when a wall of fire shoots up. Out of instinct, they hold up their arms to defend their selves. When the fire dies down, they hurry forward to see a little girl seating down near a couch, coughing.
Holly knees down near her, �Don�t worry, we�ll get you out.� Holly then picks the girl up and holds her in her arms. Suddenly a beam falls down behind them. �We need to get out of here and fast.�
�Right,� Kenny says, and then he presses the �#� button on his Battle Gauntlet to contacts Henry. �Henry, can you tell if anyone else is here.�
�No, it�s only you three left,� Henry�s voice comes over their com link.
�Okay,� Kenny presses the �1� button on his Battle Gauntlet. �Battle Laser!� Kenny�s Battle Laser appears on right hand. �Get ready to move.�
Holly nods her head, as she holds the girl closes, and then Kenny fires his Battle Laser at the wall, blasting a hole into it. Suddenly, explosions of fire shoot out of one of the building�s windows. Kenny and Holly, holding the girl, jump out the hole and manage to lands on the street. They turn around to see the now empty building collapses.
�Oh my god!� the girl�s mother yells, as she runs to her daughter and the heroes. Holly hands the girl to her mother, who hugs and kisses her daughter. �I�m so glad, you�re okay. Thanks god.� She then turns to her heroes. �And thanks you, very much.
�We are glad to help,� Kenny tells her.
�Who are you?� the woman asks.
�Hum,� Holly turns to Kenny before facing the woman. �We�re the Battle Defenders.�
Not too far away, Flarlord is watching from an alleyway and he is getting angrier by the minute.
�That fire would have lasted for hours if they hadn�t damaged the building�s foundation,� Flarlord says. �Don�t matter; I will burn this entire city down.�
Then electric starts to shoot out of the ground and entangles Flarlord. As he tries to break free, the electric causes him to disappear in a flash of electric.
Just as sudden he disappeared from a city alleyway; Flarlord appears in the center of the horsemen�s cave. Flarlord falls to his knees, then Death shoots electric from his fingers, blinding Flarlord�s right arm, causing him to drops his sword. War shoots electric from his fingers, blinding Flarlord�s left arm, follows by Conquest shoots electric from his fingers at Flarlord�s forehead, holding his head still.
�W-What�s going on?!� Flarlord yells.
�Crestview Heights is a spiritual focal point, it took us forever to find it,� Famine says, as he walks toward Flarlord with a large collar in his hands. �We can�t waste time finding a new spiritual focal point, so this city can�t die, at least not yet.�
�Okay, I understand,� Flarlord says, unable to move. �I won�t destroy the city.�
�Well, that the thing, we can�t risk your powers going so out of control that you burns the entire city,� Famine says, then holds up the collar. �That is why we will put this inhibited collar on you to keep your powers in check.�
�Wait, I�m no mutt,� Flarlord says, as Famine places the collar around Flarlord�s neck.
Once the collar clicks close, Death, War, and Conquest releases Flarlord, who falls to his hands and then tries to remove the collar but finds it can�t.
�You can�t remove the inhibited collar yourself,� Famine says, before raising his voice. �Now, go and creates the biggest drought this world had ever seen!!�
Meanwhile, back in the secret room behind BookZ, Kenny and Holly are with Henry.
�I don�t believe we actually save a little girl from a burning building,� Holly says.
�I�m proud of you two,� Henry tells them. �You went beyond the call of duty.� Henry looks at the large computer. �I guess this technology can do more good then just fight demons.�
�We are superheroes, right Kenny?� Holly looks to her friend.
�Right,� Kenny agrees.
Then the computer�s warning system starts sounding off, causing both Kenny and Holly, not used to the sudden loud sound, jump up.
�Now what?� Holly asks, as everyone faces the computer screen.
Henry enters some keystrokes, causing the screen to show Flarlord to appear on the screen. He points his sword upward, shooting fire into the sky. Henry presses more keys, causing the screen to splits in half. In the other half, an image of Flarlord appears with text next to it.
�His name is Flarlord,� Henry explains. �He can generate heat as hot as 150 degrees. Wait, he might had causes that fire at the apartment building.�
�Then why we wouldn�t alert to him before?� Kenny asks.
�I was afraid of this,� Henry says. �Periodically, I have to set the computer on a preprogrammed maintenance run to prevent old data from disintegrate.�
�We better call David and Samantha and stop him,� Holly says.
�Wait,� Kenny says, remembering Samantha having lunch with Jeremy. �Maybe we should let them have some normality.�
�Maybe you right,� Holly says.
�Okay, then but be careful,� Henry tells them.
Kenny and Holly step back, pull out their Transformers and open them. They press the triangle button, �Transformation!� Their Transformers break apart before reassembling as their armors.
The wall adjoined to the walls with the computer and table, open up, revealing the four Battle Cycles. Kenny and Holly mount their respective cycles and rev their cycles, �Battle Cycles, Battle Ready!� The two ride down the long tunnel, as Henry turns to face the computer.
�I don�t like they go on their own,� Henry thinks out loud.
Kenny and Holly are driving their Battle Cycles down a long tunnel till they reach a light. Sudden, the back wall of an alley slides back, revealing an opening in the ground, then Kenny and Holly ride their Battle Cycles out of the opening and down the long road, as the back wall closes over the opening.
Only minutes later, Kenny and Holly ride down the street toward Flarlord.
�Ah, you again?� Flarlord sees Kenny and Holly riding toward him. �Here for a roast?�
Flarlord strikes down his sword, causing a wall of fire to erupt from it toward Kenny and Holly.
�Watch out!� Kenny yells, before kick the side of Holly�s cycle, pushing both her and his cycle out of the wall of the wall of fire.
Both Holly and Kenny fall off their cycles and look up to see a long trail of a scorch mark where the wall of fire was.
�Well, this should be fun,� Holly says, before he and Kenny get back up to fight Flarlord.
Meanwhile back at school, Samantha and Jeremy are leaving the library, where they hanged out.
�So, where does Ms. Samantha Qualli spends her free time?� Jeremy asks her.
�Well, I got a job at this bookstore not too far from here,� Samantha answers. �It�s called Book Z or Bookz.�
�Maybe someday, I could hang out with you while you�re at work,� Jeremy says.
�I would like that,� Samantha tells him, smiling, and then her Transformer starts ringing. �Excuse me.� Samantha walks couple steps ahead, while Jeremy stays back and she answers her Transformer. �Hello?�
�Samantha,� Henry�s voice is heard by Samantha from her Transformer. �There�s a demon in the city. Kenny and Samantha are fighting it, but they�re going to need help.�
�Okay, I�m on my way,� Samantha tells him before hanging up, she then turns to Jeremy. �I�m sorry, something came up. I need to go.�
�Is something wrong, maybe I can go with you?� Jeremy says.
�No, just a friend emergency,� Samantha tells him. �I�ll see you tomorrow at school. Bye.�
Samantha waves bye as she walks away before running away, Jeremy waves back before walking off.
Elsewhere, outside the school gym, David shows up and sees people throwing basketballs back and forth. Suddenly, David�s Transformer rings, leading to him turn away from the gym and answers it.
�Hello,� David says, before hearing Henry�s voice. David turns to look in on the gym, �Got it, on my way.�
David closes his Transformer and runs off to help his friends.
Back at the fight with Flarlord, Kenny falls on his back with his Battle Saber by his side. Meanwhile Holly is trying to hold down Flarlord�s sword with her Battle Axe. But Flarlord overpowers her, pushing up her axe and then strike her across the chest.
�Now, burn baby burn,� Flarlord holds his sword over the fallen heroes, when suddenly Flarlord is hit by laser beams.
Kenny and Holly then see David and Samantha, in their armor and riding their Battle Cycles, firing their Battle Lasers. They fire couple more shots, knocking Flarlord off his feet. Kenny and Holly pick up their weapons and join their friends, as they dismount their cycles and remove their weapons from the side of the cycles.
�Guys, you�re okay?� David asks Kenny and Holly.
�Yes,� Holly tells him and Samantha.
�No one is going to be okay,� Flarlord says, returning to his feet. �When I�m get done with you!�
Kenny then notices couple people had shown up, including the woman and his daughter from the apartment fire.
�David, I think you are right about codenames,� Kenny says.
�Alright, let�s do it!� David says.
�Battle Violet, Battle Ready!� Kenny enters a fighting stance.
�Battle Pink, Battle Ready!� Samantha enters a fighting pose.
�Battle Green, Battle Ready!� David enters a fighting pose.
�Battle Orange, Battle Ready!� Holly enters a fighting stance.
�Battle Defenders, Battle Ready!�
�I don�t care who you are or what you called yourself,� Flarlord says, angry. �I will kill all of you and then I burn this entire city down, spiritual focal point or not!�
�No you will not,� Kenny tells him. �This city and its inhabitants are under our protection.�
�Let�s do it!� David says.
The four Defenders charge Flarlord who raises his sword and strike it down, sending a bolt of fire at them. David spins around his Battle Lance, before using it to swat away the bolt of fire into the ground. Holly jumps up and strikes down with her axe, but Flarlord uses his sword to block it in midair. Flarlord manages to push back the attack, but Holly counters by kicking off his chest, causing her to fly backward.
Samantha stands beside Holly, and starts shoots laser arrows at Flarlord, who slams down his sword creating a wall of fire to block them. The wall of fire disappears and Kenny runs through. Their swords clash, as Kenny tries to throw a successful hit on Flarlord.
�You can never defeat me,� Flarlord tells Kenny, as he holding Kenny�s sword down with his own. �I�m the true demon of fire.�
�I�m not impresses,� Kenny says, then presses the �1� button on his Battle Gauntlet and his Battle Laser appears in his hand.
Kenny fires his Battle Laser down, causing him to fly up above Flarlord. Flarlord then sees Samantha firing a laser arrow, into Flarlord�s shoulder, with the laser arrow disappears soon after. Kenny falls back down and strikes down with his Battle Saber, breaking Flarlord�s sword in half. Kenny stands on one knee, allowing David to jump over him and he strikes down Flarlord with his Battle Lance before striking him again. Holly then jumps over David�s head and then after performing a spin in midair, strikes down Flarlord with her axe.
Flarlord falls down, injured and the inhibited collar falls off, damaged.
Back at the horsemen�s cave, they are watching the fight from their orb, position in the center of the cave.
�They removed the inhibited collar!� Conquest yells.
Back at the fight, Flarlord returns to his feet, angry.
�This is it! I have enough!� Flarlord�s body is slowly engulfs by fire. �I will destroy this pathetic city, I will kill everyone here. The only that will be left is a pile of ashes!�
Flarlord is fully cover by fire, and then grows to a giant size, and the fire disappears. Flarlord holds out his hand and fire shoots out before taking the form of his sword.
�If we don�t do something, he will destroy all of Crestview Heights,� Conquest says, as he and the other horsemen are watching from their cave.
�Let�s wait,� War says.
�What are you thinking?� Famine says, getting angry.
�I�m curiosity as to what those Battle Defenders would do in this situation,� War says.
Back at the fight, the Battle Defenders look up at a giant Flarlord.
�What we suppose to do now?� Samantha asks.
�There are always the Mechadum,� Henry�s voice is heard through the com link in the Defenders� helmets.
�Mechadum?� Samantha says, confuses.
�Mechadum,� Henry says, within the secret room. �Mechanized Defense Unit Machines. There are three.� Henry enters some keys. �One for Kenny, one for Holly, and the third will be shared by David and Samantha.�
�And they�re online,� David asks, as his friends stand around him.
�Yes, they�re online,� Henry�s voice is heard from their com link. �Now, use them.�
David nods his head at Kenny, who nods in agreement. Kenny presses the �4� button on his Battle Gauntlet, �All Mechadum Assemble!�
Across town, by the city�s docks, a platform rises up from the ocean. On the platform is the large humanoid robot, next to it is the large tank, and on a higher platform behind the tank is the large jet.
�Amazing,� Holly says, as the Defenders see them. �But how are we supposed to reach them?�
Suddenly, the Defenders� bodies starting to glow bright.
�I think we are about to find out,� David says.
The Defenders turn into small balls of light and shoots toward the Mechadum. Inside the jet�s cockpit, David appears in a chair behind a large console and below at a lower level, Samantha appears in a chair behind a large console.
�Awesome, instant transportation,� David says.
Inside the tank�s cockpit, Holly appears in a charge behind a large console, as Kenny appears in a chair behind a large console in the humanoid robot�s cockpit.
�Okay, let�s do it,� Holly says.
�Battle Warrior, Battle Ready!� Kenny readies his controls.
�Battle Jet, Battle Ready!� David and Samantha ready their controls.
�Battle Tank, Battle Ready!� Holly readies her controls.
The three Mechadum race off the platform and charges forward Flarlord.
�No mount of weaponries can save you,� Flarlord says, throws a bolt of fire from his sword.
Battle Warrior crosses its arms in defense, as the bolt of fire hits it. The Battle Warrior is rears back by the force of the attack. Flarlord places his sword on his shoulder and starts laughing when he is hit by a blast. Flarlord turns to see Battle Tank riding toward him.
�Laugh at this, fire starter,� Holly says, inside her cockpit, before presses a button on the console.
Battle Tank fires another blast at Flarlord, and then another. But this time Flarlord blocks with his sword before he fires a stream of fire from his sword, blasting Battle Tank.
Battle Jet is flying over Flarlord�s head, when he notices it.
�Samantha, bring us around and let�s blast him in the back,� David says, inside the shared cockpit.
�Right,� Samantha says, as she is flying the Mechadum.
Battle Jet flies back at Flarlord and it starts to fire at his back. Flarlord gets angry, turns around, and fires a stream of fire at it. Battle Jet barely misses the attack. Then Battle Warrior grabs Flarlord�s arms from behind and tries to pins his arms down.
�You can get hurt, playing with fire,� Kenny says, inside his cockpit, as he�s struggling with the controls to keep Flarlord�s arms pinned.
�The only one to get hurt; is you!� Flarlord says, sudden his body becomes engulf in fire.
�To-Too close,� Kenny says, inside his cockpit, still trying to keep Flarlord�s arms pinned. �Too h-hot, <cough> I ca-can�t keep th-this up. Argh!!� The heat gets too bad, forcing Kenny to let go of his controls.
Battle Warrior is force to let go, Flarlord turns around, with the fire disappears and he strike across Battle Warrior with his sword, forcing it to fall down.
�Now do you understand?� Flarlord waves his sword around. �No one can stop me!�
�That�s not true,� Henry�s voice is heard from the Battle Defenders� com link.
�Henry,� Kenny says, inside the cockpit, exhausted from the heat.
�You can beat him, by doing something that demons can�t,� Henry says. �By working as a team.�
Kenny nods his head and using his controls, get Battle Warrior back on its feet.
�Tell us what to do,� Kenny says.
�There is a switch on your console,� Henry instructs them. �Pull it and says �Transform and Combine.��
�Got ya�,� Kenny says.
The Defenders pull the switch and together say, �Transform and Combine!�
Battle Warrior�s eyes glow for a second before it jumps up. The cannon on Battle Tank, and the cannon�s platform, rise up. Battle Warrior lands on top of Battle Tank. Battle Tank splits into two halves, as the front and back rises up and connects to Battle Warrior�s legs, as the two remaining sides of Battle Tank disconnects. Battle Jet stops flying and starts hovering over Battle Warrior. A black with silver chrome helmet shoots out of the center of Battle Jet, before Battle Jet lands on Battle Warrior�s shoulder with its head sticking out where the helmet was. The front and back falls down and connects to Battle Warrior�s chest and back, as the remaining pieces of Battle Tank connects to Battle Warrior�s arms and hands. At the same time the cannon�s platform connects to the remaining of Battle Warrior�s back as the cannon connects to the spot below the platform. Then the helmet falls down on Battle Warrior�s head, causing the eyes to glow for a second.
The new Mechadum raises its arms before lowering them back at its sides, as its controllers call out, �Battle Mechadum, Battle Ready!�
�A fancy trick won�t save you,� Flarlord says as he points his sword at them. �Now, die!!�
A large stream of fire shoots out of Flarlord�s sword, blasting Battle Mechadum, and completely covering it in fire, blocking it from view. As Flarlord and the people below watches, sudden Battle Mechadum walks through the fire.
�What?!� Flarlord yells in disbelieving, as the people below cheers.
�Alright, the heat shields are holding,� David says, inside his shared cockpit, reading the data coming from a small computer screen next to his console.
�Now, let�s extinguish his fire,� Holly says, inside her cockpit.
�Release the Battle Sword!� Kenny commands and presses a button on his console.
The cannon�s platform on Battle Mechadum�s back splits open as a sword handle pop up. Battle Mechadum reaches behind itself to grab the sword handle and pull it out, revealing a large metallic in appearance double bladed sword.
�You call that a sword,� Flarlord says, holding down his sword. �This is a sword.�
Suddenly the fire on his sword increases and fiery blade extend. Flarlord points his sword toward Battle Mechadum and the blade extends more till it reach Battle Mechadum, but it quickly holds up its sword, blocking the edge of the sword with the side its own.
�Samantha, takes us airborne,� David tells her, inside their cockpit.
�Right,� Samantha says.
The jets on the back of Battle Jet come to life and Battle Mechadum flies up into the sky. Flarlord�s sword returns to its normal length.
�You not getting ready that easy,� Flarlord says, as the fire on his sword increases again and he starts whipping the long blade like a whip at Battle Mechadum.
Battle Mechadum dodges one attack and then blocks another with its sword. It blocks another but then Flarlord manages to get hit on Battle Mechadum�s chest.
�We need to end this quick,� Holly says, inside her cockpit.
�Wait, Henry, how far we can fly up?� David asks, inside his cockpit, through their com link.
�I don�t know, it was never clock for something like that,� Henry says, from the secret room.
�You thinking what I�m thinking?� Samantha asks David, inside their cockpit, with David nods his head in agreement.
�Let�s do it,� Kenny agrees with the plan, inside his cockpit.
Battle Mechadum flies around Flarlord and grabs him from the back and then flies him high up.
�W-What�s you doing?� Flarlord asks, as Battle Mechadum flying them high up through the sky.
�Without enough oxygen, fire can�t breath,� David says, inside his cockpit.
�Y-You won�t get away with this,� Flarlord says, as the fire on his sword starting to die out and he becomes weaker.
Sudden Battle Mechadum�s eyes go black and it and Flarlord starting to fall back down.
�What happened?� Holly asks, inside her cockpit.
�We went too far,� David answers, inside his shared cockpit. �We lost power.�
Flarlord falls out of Battle Mechadum�s arms, as the two are falling back to terra firma. The flames on Flarlord�s sword return and he points it toward the coming ground.
�Look!� Samantha says, inside her shared cockpit, as she sees Flarlord. �He won�t!�
�We can�t take that risk,� Kenny says, inside his cockpit. �David, get the system back online.�
David starts pressing the keys on his console, �Almost.� David presses a keystroke as the consoles in each of the cockpits come alive and so does Battle Mechadum�s eyes. �There!�
They then see Flarlord is getting ready to shoot fire at the busy streets.
�He�s going to kill them!� Samantha screams, in her shared cockpit.
�No, he�s not,� Kenny says, in his cockpit.
Battle Mechadum spins around in midair and flies around and then toward the falling Flarlord. In a quick moment, Battle Mechadum strikes Flarlord with the Battle Sword. Battle Mechadum lands on the ground, after a creaking stop. It takes a fighting stance with its sword as Flarlord explodes in midair and the people below celebrating at their heroes� victories.
Later at BookZ, Kenny and Samantha are standing behind the counter as David and Holly are standing in front of it.
�So why you guys didn�t called us to begin with?� Samantha asks.
�Well, if we could handle him,� Holly starts. �Then all of us don�t have to lose ours normality.�
�Yeah, I mean David wants to join the basketball team,� Kenny explains.
�Ah, it�s nothing,� David says. �Besides, helping my friends are more important.�
�Yeah, so if something happens,� Samantha starts. �No matter what, we will call each other.�
�Agree,� David and Holly say.
�Kenny?� Samantha turns to Kenny.
�Yeah, agree,� Kenny says, with a smile.
