Luna

Luna is the black cat, she's SailorMoon's guardian and guide, and at the very end, about her best and closest friend. Very often she will act like a mean nanny towards Usagi, and act preachy towards the other senshi, but she is well intentioned and very concerned about her mission to first find and later guide the growing Moon Princess, and her Senshi protectors from the Silver MilleniumIt is very clear that she is very attached to Usagi and Usagi is quite attached to her in return, even though they are often complaining about each other. At moments, she becomes Usagi's scratching post/stress relief toy, but then Usagi is usually reminded that Luna has not been declawed. =)

She is a very courageous and very mature cat, she's very smart and very wise, if somewhat of a grouch sometimes.Early on, Luna seems to enjoy the company of Ami-chan, pretty much the only person who actually listens to her. =) She gets a fair bit of respect from the Inner Senshi and ChibiUsa, not much from Usagi, tho... =) She also gets a lot of sympathy from them, more than Artemis would, =) cause Luna, after all, is also a girl. =)When need be, she's quite mature and serious, and early in the series, she was often a force to pull the Inner Senshi together as a team. But later, she becomes more of an advisor, working together with Artemis in studying the enemy, and planning the Senshi's moves against them. Are these kitties smart or what? =)In the SailorMoon S movie, she transforms into a human, to save a man she thought she fell in love with, but her true love, as she realizes at the end, is Artemis. They have a kitten in the future, precocious and adorable Diana. She is well loved by the Senshi; she's the most serious of the cats, and she often develops crushes on humans. (Kakeru, the astronomer, and Yaten =)In the SuperS season, her kawaii daughter Diana drops by, and shakes things up a bit. =) In the SailorStars season, Luna becomes a little more childlike, and extremely funny, if always very close to Usagi.
