Church wall in Gouda, Holland

Walls of the former ironindustry in Avesta, Dalarna.
When Sara and I visited Alvesta on a half-a-day tour in 2000 we took a break and of course I got exited when I reached this old factory with its fantastic walls of cinder stones from the blast furnace!

Stones in my mind

Lake Vättern
A memory from my first visit in the ruin of Brahehus and the view of the southeast side of the lake in Småland (Road E4 between Jönköping and Mjölby passing Gränna).
When I was young you could see this fascinating ruin as a light in the dark forest up in the mountain.
