~In Memory of Muffin~
This page is dedicated to my baby, Muffin, my apricot toy poodle, who passed away on January 25, 2000, after giving us 11-1/2 years of love, kindness, happiness, laughter, and fun. She will be missed forever.

Muffin was the smartest dog I've ever met, with more personality than many humans I know. She never thought she was a dog, she was our baby. She could always be counted on to give the best hugs and kisses, and she asked for nothing but love (and maybe some biscuits) in return.
She was like most kids, she had a toybox full of toys, and yet she preferred to play with empty gallon milk containers and empty cardboard paper towel rolls. She was amazing, because she knew every one of her toys by name, and would look all over for them if you asked her for a specific one, and then bring it to you so you could play!
We got her when she was only a few weeks old, and could fit in the palm of your hand. Her 'room' was a box, the size of a folded newspaper, until she got big enough to take over the whole house. Muffin quickly let us know that she owned the place, we just lived there. She was a sweetheart, but very protective of her owners. She knew who loved her, and she showed us the same love by barking and growling at anyone and everyone who looked at us wrong. :)
I know I'll never find another 'kid' like her.
