![]() Vic Falls was the was the meeting place for our tour and
the first port of call on our holiday. Vic Falls is an andrenile
junkies heaven with all the adventure sports that you can handle (money
and time permitting of course).

The dry season is not the time to see the Falls, you keep
on wondering who turned off the tap? Especially if you are
cheapskates like us and refuse to pay the US$20 to see them from the
Zimbabwean side. We figured the only way to see "The Smoke that
thunders" properly was from the air and we braved the skys and took a
flight in a microlight. Highly recommended.

Rafting the Zambezi is an experience that no-one should
miss but I can't wait for a day that they build a escalator to take you
out of the gorge!! Watch out for Rapid 18 - "OBLIVION", it is a
rough one and you are almost guarenteed to come out of the boat - but hey
that it is the best part!
