The Old PhoenixMerry meet, and welcome to the Old Phoenix, the inn at the crossroads of space and time, a caravanserai for travelers, seekers and wanderers from every corner of the cosmos, a gathering place for those who want to shake out and party, an oasis and a sanctuary for those craving somewhere to rest, rejuvenate, and regain their strength before returning to the fields we know.
Have a seat near the fireplace and order one of the house's special potions or culinary delights. Peer into the cauldron bubbling on the hearth and give it a vigorous stir, deosil or widdershins - whichever strikes your fancy. Drink in the atmosphere. Enjoy the music of the spheres. Participate in a circle dance. Join in one of the many interesting philosophical discussions which are usually going on around here. Weave us a spell. Sing us a song or two. Tell us your story.......
Parliaments of owls discussing art in the rafters, ravens making music in the inglenook, cats chanting mantras in the library, dragons dancing in the sun room, wolves in the north corner discussing archetypal psychology - there is something for everyone at the Old Phoenix. The sky is the limit, and if this place can be said to have a motto, it is "Far out".
Deity, shapeshifter, spellsinger, warrior or mundane (is there such a thing?), you are welcome here, and we hope you enjoy your visit. Come again, and do sign the guest book (below) before you go. A word of caution though - this place is something of a moveable feast, and it does a kind of morris dance through space and time. When you leave, you may find yourself somewhere else entirely, and not in the place where you first came in.
