Marie Kerpan is the founder of Green Careers, a consulting practice designed to help people find jobs that support ecological, social and economic sustainability. Formerly a Vice President and Senior Consultant with Drake Beam Morin, the industry leader in career transition consulting, Marie's professional background also includes 10 years on Wall St. in a variety of executive line and staff positions. An active participant in the sustainability movement, Marie was the Director of Sustainable Marin, providing sustainability education and advocacy in Marin County. She is also one of the co-founders of Sustainable Mill Valley, which continues to be successful in shaping sustainable public policy. Marie is the author of "Balance: The Ultimate Challenge of the 21st Century" published by Berrett-Koehler in a collection of essays entitled When the Canary Stops Singing: Women's Perspectives on Transforming Business.
