The Character:
This little cutie is none other than the star of Card Captor Sakura, Sakura Kinomoto (hence the name Sakura, appearing the the title of the show ^.^) A very cheery, energetic 4th grader, Sakura's glass is always half-full. In school, she excells at physical Education and music (although I remember her almost failing her recorder test), and squeezes by in almost ever academic subject. She can be found usually with her best friend, Tomoyo-chan, whom has been her friend since they were both very very young.
A Puzzle Piece in the Story:
Obviously, this story is built aorund Sakura and her hijinks. After stumbling apon the Clow book in her father's basement library, she managed to allow the escape of 52 potentially dangerous spirits to wreak havoc on Tokyo. From the book, also rose Keroberos, the slumbering guardian of the clow. After laying soul blaim on poor Sakura-chan, he then decides that Sakura shall capture these mavric spirit, and thus Card Captor Sakura is born! |
