Forgotten

As thousand smiles cross my eyes

with yours a faded grin

a hundred knots my stomach ties

my teardrops fill within

unspoken words you give my lips

the silence hurts so true

hearing as my soul doth rips

what am of i to do

fingers point and cast the blame

as strangers stop to stare

creating an unholy fame

that's equal to your glare

so i will go and take my leave

and hinder you no more

for i sought not the make you grieve

and yet i doth implore

these pleads mean nothing to thou's ears

i wish that tis i hope

and i can take the others sneers

yet your's a lynching rope

so to the shadows i doth run

where i will hide and wait

and when i rest and i am done

except my chosen fate.
