The Valentine Collection
Poem for Fae:
such an optimistic creature
full of innocence and wonder
how could such sorrow come to thee
why must the flowers bloom from thy's tears
collect and drinkith of them
love will come your way
such sweet promises should not be broken
to such a lovely a little being

Sadness:
how is it that sadness can consume
the purest of all human souls
for it should prevail
and yet it shrivels as a a rose deprived of its' essence
shall i not let the very flesh of me
rot off my milky bones
shall i not let the icy grip of death clasp the goblet
filled with my salty crimson life and drinkth plentiful of it
this is what sadness can conquer

Tainted:
let the rain pool and drip into these bloody waters

Somber Notes:
let the trumpet sing it's bittersweet melody
for i speak this for you
once my one true love
do you still care
or is that why you walk away
don't let these tears change your mind
keep on your way will the dawn
all played in this melancholy song

The Hurt:
smoke me through your gritted teeth
chew me up, spit me out
no need to feel ashamed
taking blows low and hard
make me feel your pain

Buttons:
sewn eyes of sadness staring in despair
for the on which looks the brightest
no one can compare
for you the one i love so much
a heart so filled with glee
i wish that i could bring more happiness to thee
my soul so sorry to make you mad
what can i do
make me understand
