It's Getting Better all the Time

just when you think things are getting better

that is the true moment when they start to get worse

not just gradually it happens all at once

at that one instant all that was present is now the past

some wonder if that spit-second is frozen in time for eternity

who is to tell maybe it is and

all these instantaneous episodes

are kept in small orbs of entangled nothingness

only to be witnessed all at once by the lost souls

of the perpetual chasm of desolation.
