About Sarah

Hi! I'm Sarah Kinzer.  This is me.  Up until July 26th of 2003 I was Sarah Livingston.  But it's official I went to the DMV recently and got changed over. 

If I start from the beginning I would tell you I was born in Maine but was raised in Northern Virginia.  Growing up I was very active.  I was on the swim team and figure skated competitively. I played tennis and was involved in theatre.  I graduated high school in 1998 and went on to James Madison University, only THE greatest university EVER!  It was there that I met great friends, including my best friend Leslie, with whom I shared many zany and wild adventures with.  Like the time I lived with 15 girls....Oh my!  I majored in Theatre, focusing on makeup and costume design.  I took up guitar and began songwriting and performing. In my senior year I was working on an independent film and met this guy named Kermit.  Well his real name as it turns out is Gary.  Needless to say we fell in love. We started dating.  During this time I got two kittens.  Kermit and I married and we are living happily ever after in Richmond, Virginia as one big happy family.

That's my life in a nutshell....but you want more? Who doesn't, I mean really?

Here are things about me.

I am 5'7".  My hair is blond, although we don't know how long that will last. My eyes change from blue to green to grey depending on my mood and what I'm wearing.  My feet are shrinking. I used to wear a size 9 and 1/2 and now I wear an 8 and 1/2.  I have very bad knees and just had my second knee surgery.  My husband takes excellent care of me. Last week I weighed 4 pounds more than when I graduated high school making it a solid 20 pounds that I lost since meeting my husband.  Hooray!  My "career objective" is to open a theatre company for children with special needs.

Here are things I like.

I like my cats.  I like sherbet, but only the cheap kind. I like lots of music, but my favorite is what my neighbor describes as "crappy punk". I'm basically obsessed with Harry Potter which is pretty sad at 22.  I say it's sad that I'm obsessed but truthfully I don't care. I like guitar. I like to draw, although I'm not excellent.  I like to iron.  I like to polish silver. I like the show Passions and old talk show reruns.

Here are things I hate.

Pet birds out of cages. Water weight. Funny textured foods.

Favorite color : blue

Favorite Holiday : Christmas

Favorite President : FDR

Favorite food : spaghetti

Favorite TV show : Of all time...Ally McBeal.  Don't know why it ended.  Don't care.   just want it back.

Favorite thing in our apartment : Four foot high candle holder thingies.

Favorite appliance in our kitchen : Hands down, the smoothie machine

Favorite show to have worked on : Into the Woods

Favorite movie : It's a Wonderful Life....it is isn't it.

Favorite drink at Starbucks : Mocha Frappacino

Did you know?

Did you know that chai is the Indian word for tea?  So now doesn't it sound stupid when people say they have chai tea?  It means TEA tea!

Did you know that a whale's penis is longer than the average man is tall?  If it hung down it would act as a rudder and throw the whale off course.
