Born & raised in South Australia, I have dabbled in various crafts since a young age.  In 1999 I became a qualified Ceramic Teacher and taught from home, but  I wanted to offer my students more choices, so began making Reproduction Porcelain Dolls.
I have  won many ribbons and a couple of Best in Catagory rosettes for my modern dolls and in 2000 started making bears as accessories.  The bears took over from all other crafts and after making only one commercial pattern bear I decided to design my own.
The first 2 bears were entered in the South Australian Doll & Bear Show,
where they both came home with first place ribbons.
Other awards I have won for my bears are listed on the Awards page for you to view.
In early 2002  I was honoured by  becomming the third Australian Bear Artist to have  bears  selected for the prestigious Dancing Bear Folk Center, a Bear Museum in the US.
I  love to design new bears and I am always trying to come up with new innovative designs for the bear collectors.  I also hold many charities near & dear to my heart and assist these charities by donating bears or funds to help there fundraising efforts.
Info on Charities I Support can be found on my Bears For Charity Page.
Full attention is devoted to making high quality collectable bears and looking after my two adorable children ( that is, when they are asleep!! ).
All the bears are made from the highest quality fur and mohair, imported from around the world.  Most have German Hand-blown Glass eyes, are filled with Orlon Flock and are Fully Jointed, using locknuts and wooden discs.  All the bears are Hand-sewn and will come with their own hand-signed certificate of authenticity, stating the bears name, what the bear is made of, how many it is limited to and their date of birth.
The bears that belong to a special series will also come with an aditional certificate saying that their belong to that particular collection.
Award winning bears will also come with a photo, of them with their award.
Most of the bears are One of a Kind, sometimes Twins or Triplets and on the rare occassion,
a special limited edition series will be available for adoption..
If you have any further questions about the bears please feel free to email me.

2003 Look out for new additions Puppies, Bunnies & Patterns will also be available.
