listening to: "i won't last a day without you"; utada hikaru feat. shiina ringo
it's my first day off in nine days. with my next day off a distant eight days away, it's been difficult trying to decide how i should spend my day. lounge around. clean the apartment. perhaps FINALLY upload some entries. lucky for everyone, i chose to spend time on my poor, neglected website.
first and foremost, i decided to finally uploaded a few photos from my wedding. unfortunately, that's about it. i probably should expand a bit more about it. okay. a LOT more about it. but that's all i feel like doing so you'll have to forgive me.
exchanging our vows.
stealing a kiss before everyone came out after the ceremony.
dancing to "close to you" by the carpenters.
as you can tell, the wedding was very low-key. i had finally found a dress a week before we flew up at bcbg in waikele and we bought jon's shirt a few days before at tori richard's.
i always thought the baby-naming process would be easy. i'd choose a name that i liked and jon would enthusiastically agree. but as i should have known, it didn't go as smoothly and the two of us took turns rejecting each other's choices. and now, after two months since knowing that we're having a boy, jon and i have FINALLY decided on a name.
kaiden shin-kwon taka. pronounced kīd'n. not kād'n. i also wanted him to have names representing both sides of his nationality, so we've chosen jon's birth name and a japanese name of our liking. we're still in the process of deciphering the meaning for shin-kwon and have yet to choose the meaning for taka. of course we want a good strong meaning, but we also want to make sure the characters are correct and aren't weird or archaic.
