listening to: "one love"; 1TYM
i went in for the second part of my screening yesterday. they withdrew more blood, at least this time it was only one vial instead of ten. with the integrated screening, they'll take this sample and the initial one they took in the beginning to see if the baby is alright. so now i have to wait about two weeks for a result. unfortunately, jon wasn't able to come. his schedule has changed since being at volvo and he no longer works tuesday through saturday, but monday to friday. we've been trying to schedule the more important visits on saturdays, so that he can attend as well.
speaking of important visits, i'm scheduled for an ultrasound on the 21st of next month. it was the soonest saturday available, so at least jon will be able to come with me. hopefully we'll be able to find out the sex of the baby. i'll be at twenty weeks by then ... which means i'm at sixteen weeks now. sixteen! i'm FOUR months preggie! anyway, so it's a good chance that we'll be able to find out whether it's a boy or a girl ... just as long as the baby cooperates.
