here's my new element muscle tee. isn't it cute? it's a creamish color with olive green raglan sleeves. i'm such a wannabe skater-punk girl. :b i think it's because of jon. yep. it's all his fault. no, it's not really. i'm really too much of a girly girl to completely be skater. i'll wear my tilt and gap cargo pants from time to time. and sport my hurley and split shirts. but you can just tell i'm not a true skater. i think it's the cleanliness and girliness that gives it away. and besides, what skater wears gap? then again. there's probably some out there that do.
i'm definitely one of those brand names kind of person and try to fill my closet with billabong, element, hurley, ripcurl, roxy, rusty, and split and frequent pacsun every chance i get. they tend to be a bit expensive, but they're the only source of good skater-surfer clothes here in hilo.
jon's a little more old school skater-surfer. he'll still sport billabong, split, and quiksilver, but he rarely buys them on his own. i think all the shirts he has from those brands have been gifts. left on his own, he'd probably buy vans, independent, and thrift store finds. my all-time favorite outfit of jon's? a plain white hanes shirt, baggy jeans, and his vans shoes. oh. and of course his glasses. i don't know why i like it so much. it's so plain. i guess that's how i always remember him at the dorms.
