jon, dustin, his friend regina, and i met up with brent down at kapoho, or rather more specific, vacationland. brent's mother is friends with a guy who lives down there. most of the houses in vacationland have ponds in their backyards since the area is so close to sea level. most of the ponds are warm water, but those closer to the ocean are still cold.

after a great day, the four of us went to watch matrix reloaded. i was really excited to see it, not only because i really enjoyed the first matrix, but because after seeing a feature on matrix reloaded on mtv's movie house i thought i saw jet li in one of the scenes.

i was *so* excited when we watched the scene. i mean, i actually leaned forward in my seat, thinking it was him. there was a moment when i thought maybe it wasn't because he looked slightly different, but i brushed it aside. i mean, he fought like jet li. and he looked like jet li. so he *must* be jet li. after the movies we met up with iris guys and when i told iris that the jet li scene was the best part of the movie, she informed me that it wasn't jet li at all. and my bubble burst. but it piqued my interest as to who this jet li look-alike was.

his name is collin chou (sometimes also called ngai sing). born in taiwan, he has appeared in more than thirty feature films for top action directors such as sammo hung, corey yuen, tsui hark, tony ching and yuen wo ping and has even acted in two movies with jet li, bodyguard from beijing and my father is a hero. he may just be the new addition to my cute actors list.
