last night iris, digga, and i went to the lehua jaycees' annual springfest carnival. this year's springfest was the first in so many years that didn't get rained on. fortunately, we've been having great weather this past week.

the carnivals here are definitely not anything to brag about. the rides for adults are usually limited to the zipper, the pharaoh's fury, the super sizzler, and a couple of somewhat new rides, this year, being the spin out and the cliffhanger. truthfully, i'm not a rides kind of person. i don't like being disoriented and not knowing which way is up. and i surely don't like my stomach floating up into my throat. when jon and i go, i do give in and at least ride the zipper. i figure it's only once a year (well, twice if i include the annual county fair). jon just has to put up with me screaming at him that i hate him the whole time. :b yes. i'm such a wuss.

after springfest, we met up with the rest of the group at kfc. i had to jump in with xave for the rest of the night because digga and iris switched cars since digga wanted to take out his crx. it was a good night even though we got kicked out after an hour or so. we went from blue lights to ponahawai to goodyear to the annex and finally to the inter.

i definitely got my exercise jumping in and out of xave's truck. it's quite a workout getting into and out of a 7" lifted truck, especially when you're only 5'2".

oh. and i colored my hair yesterday too. it didn't come out quite what i wanted it to, but it's still okay. i used the new l'oréal couleur experte in butterscotch crème, a dark golden blonde.
