since iris got her film developed and *back* (unlike poor li'l me) and let me have some of the doubles, i'll recap this past weekend.

saturday:
saturday was my second photo shoot for speedhawaii. jon and i woke up saturday morning and met up with iris for lunch. we went to subway and ordered some sub-sandwiches to go and caught up with digga on his lunch break.

afterwards we drove to paradise floral in keaau to pick up the camera from brian and meet up with patrick and matt. we drove about fifteen minutes down to kaloli point for my photo shoot. the view was great there. i'm bummed that i left my camera in the car and was a little too wrapped up modeling to take scenic pictures, but we did take a few other pictures after my shoot with iris's camera.

afterwards we drove to digga's house. we watched him put on gsr rims on iris's car and hung out a bit until 6:00, when jon and i went back home. i have pictures of our time there, but i haven't developed that roll yet, so give me a couple more days.

at 8:00pm jon and i went to miyo's for dinner. i was really looking forward to finally taking pictures of the shabu-shabu, especially since we ordered agedashidofu (fried tofu). but then i realized that i left my camera at home when we returned after digga's house. :(

after miyo's jon and i went back home and took a nap until midnight. we met up with some of the bahoof at the naniloa hotel. chad and eric rented a couple of rooms for a post-prom party. prom party! the last time i went to one was last year when jennel was still here.

we didn't stay that long there, only long enough for jon to drink two heineken. we met up with iris guys on the road, along the way towards macnuts. at first i saw kristen and jon pulled up next to her and then we continued on. and then we caught up with brian (not the speedhawaii brian, both their last names start with "k" so i need to give one of a nickname soon so i can differentiate between the two). and then jamie. and then jeremy.

at macnuts, jeremy raced bong a few times. jon even raced, too. he and jaime raced against together. jon beat jaime on the launch but jaime caught up to him and beat him. it was a really close race and probably would've been even more closer if jon had remembered to turn his ac off. :b

after we left macnuts, we cruised at shell before getting kicked out and then we ended up at waiakea inter. the night ended really late for us. jon and i didn't get home till almost 5:00am. iris said she and digga didn't get home till almost 6:00. =:o crazy people.

sunday:
jon and i woke up considerable early sunday morning, 11:30am. it's not that early, but since we got home at 5:00 in the morning, we really only got six hours of sleep.

jon and i went to ken's as usual for breakfast and then we went to shipman's for my weekly driving session. i got to drive by myself again. i did pretty well. i didn't stall. but i did pull out of second because i forgot to shift into first. but i still didn't stall.

after driving jon and i parked on the side of the road so he could teach me how to change a tire. all went well until he told me to stand on the tire iron to loosen the lugnuts. we realized that i'm too light to loosen them. :b so maybe i won't be able to change tires by myself, but we planned it so that if i ever do get a flat tire and he wasn't around, i'd either call him or digga or dustin or somebody and while i wait for them to come save me, i could get everything started. :)
