i went to the drags today with iris. it's been a while since i last went, since this past summer when jon and i helped out jennel's father.
we went down at about 12:30, 1:00pm and met up with jon c. and don. since he worked today, digga was going to come a little later. i also ran into brent and randy. brian and shadan were down there taking pictures for speedhawaii.
they postponed the time trials a lot, but brent got to go on one of the earlier runs and clocked at 15.36. the pro gas and junior drags seemed to have taken priority today, because they didn't continue the time trials until almost 6:30. unfortunately, jon c. had to go, without even getting to time his car because he had a dinner at 6:30 and left at 6:00.
they finally got under way again and digga was able to get in two runs. the first was timed at 14.55 and the second run clocked at 14.05. randy timed his camaro at 14.7.
i think the they went for a few more runs, but iris and i, hot from being in the sun all day and hungry, went home soon after.
i'll have photos from the drags posted as soon as possible.
