happy early birthday jon!
so tonight is the speedhawaii party and car show at uncle mikey's. i'm starting to get a little nervous and excited. i'm really not the type to have people staring at me and taking pictures of me, but then again, what else is being a model all about? i was really surprise that i agreed to be a model in the first place. i guess, it's just that i'm plagued with a low self-esteem and i'm not very photogenic because most of my pictures don't come out as well as i would like them to. i really think my face swells into a giant ball in my pictures because i really don't have that round of a face the rest of the time. i think. so why *did* i become a model? for the same reasons that i shouldn't have. i'm hoping that i'll come away with more self-esteem and be much more comfortable in front of a camera than i am now. besides, how could i resist the opportunity of being next to some of the hottest cars on the island or in the state, for that matter.
i stumbled on to a few of those online quizzes floating around. i'm such a sucker for them. so in light of the party and car show tonight, i decided to take a couple that related to cars:

i'm not so sure about the descriptions, i mean, the description for the 350z seems so plain compared to the car. but the one for the si holds a little truth. i am a little concerned with my looks than i should be. i wouldn't say it was vanity though, it's more like i'm insecure. but other than that, i'm *really* happy with the results. 350z's are *so* sexy and si's are really nice too. hopefully i'll see both at the car show. maybe some sexy black ones. yeah. black is always sexy. hm. maybe that's why all us models will be wearing black tops for the event.
by the way, jon's birthday is tomorrow. and not just any birthday. his golden birthday. that's right, my baby is making 22 on the 22nd. i just had my golden birthday in september. i'm not sure what we'll be doing for his birthday, though. maybe i'll take him out to dinner at miyo's. and we'll probably cruise with the bahoof gang for the night, too. maybe dustin and jon will drink each other into oblivion. it's going to be a good weekend.
