we spent the majority of friday morning (03 january) shopping at meadows mall. exhausted, we returned to the hotel with enough time to get ready for the night. iris, kyle, jen, brad, joy and i went to see the "mystère" by the cirque du soleil at treasure island. it was one of the most amazing things i have ever seen. the seats we got were great, located stage right, in the fifth row.

the image above is of one of the dancers from mystère. i can't wait to see "o" at the bellagio the next time i go to vegas.

after the show, we met up with jt, blaine, and maikai and went to rain, located in palms. a friend of jt's knew the bouncer, so we got moved to the front part of the line. we still had to wait a half an hour or so, but at least we didn't have to wait at the very end of the line.

rain is one of the most amazing clubs i've ever been to. the dance floor is like a little island surrounded by water. the light effects are situated right above it and it shoots fog and *fire* once in awhile. so cool!

see the fire. you can actually feel the heat when it goes on. iris, kyle jen, brad, joy, and i went home at about 3:00am. jt, blaine, maikai stayed on and jt even went to an after party afterwards at club seven. i'm not exactly sure where it's located though.
