happy birthday noel!

i went to vegas for a few days with iris and her family and her brother's friends. it was absolutely awesome! i had a really great time. we left on thursday (02 january) and returned on monday (06 january).

iris and i didn't go to sleep at all the wednesday night before. our plan was to sleep on the plane since we had to help her mom make bento at 3:30 thursday morning and be at the airport at 5:30 to catch our 7:30 flight. we met up with iris's brother, kyle, his girlfriend jen, and his friends brad, joy (brad's girlfriend), jt, blaine, and maikai at the honolulu airport and set off to vegas at 10:00.

i wasn't able to take any pictures from my seat, 32d, which is located in the middle aisle, but it would've all just been of the pacific ocean, anyway. we arrived in vegas at around 5:00pm pacific time and were shuttled to the fremont hotel, where we were staying.

the first night was spent adjusting and taking in the famous city. iris and i did a little gambling and later we met up with kyle, jen, brad, joy, jt, blaine, and maikai and went sightseeing along the strip. we started from the venetian and worked our way to the bellagio.

i regret that we weren't able to finish the last half of the strip and that none of the pictures were taken during the daytime. there's several great pictures but you can't really tell what they're of because it's so dark.
