Here is what I pledge to do in honor of your ride.

1. I am very busy right now with paring down 40 years of married life to fit into a 2 bedroom apartment. All those years of living in houses made me accumulate a lot. I am giving most of our extras to the Brown Elephant and when things are sold they will benefit folks suffering with HIV/AIDS.

2. So even tho I am busy and grieving about leaving Broadway too, I pledge to respond once a day to an email asking for me to sign a petition or make a call related to the environment. I get many each day but will only be able to do one.

3. I will also plan to give once a week a $25 donation to one of the groups that I think is worth it. So that will be $100 in the next 4 weeks.

4. I also will plan a spiritual commitment: each morning before I rise, I will say a prayer: "I pray that I treat all creation with love and respect today" This will set my frame of mind for the day
