| One thing we all do as women is hate our bodies. We all need to learn to love ourselves as we are, tall or short, skinny or chubby. Who cares.....it's all about what's on the inside anyways!!!! We need to learn to be able to look in the mirror and love what we see. Some how, some way, we need to learn to appreciate who we are for what we are and remember that it's what's on the inside that counts. We all struggle every single day with issues of body image. I have tried so hard to not be concerned about how I look but it as been ingrained in our brains for so long, it's hard to change old patterns Just because we are overweight or underweight doesn't mean we cannot still be fit and proud of our bodies. Whether you are tall or short, overweight or underweight, there is no reason you still can't be proud of yourself and have a great positive outlook. I am trying very hard to instill that same sense of pride in my own daughter! That she should be happy about how she looks and who she is. It's not easy!!! |
